I stopped at this Starbucks on my way home from a trip to the beach. They basically stole my money. The ONLY reason I stopped at Starbucks is bc I had $7.92 left on a digital gift card on my phone. We only wanted black coffee. Nothing special, not even cream. I ordered and the cashier had me my scan my phone's barcode. It was like $6.70 or something 2 for plain, black coffees. The cashier said āit didn't work, try againā I said, āwell, it took the money off the card- most of the money is gone.ā And she said āyeah, just scan it again. ā Now all the money is gone and she said āit still didn't work.ā I replied that there's no money left so something worked. And she said āyeah I see that let me go ask the managerā. The manager told her that the app must have just thought there was money when there wasn't. I said āso you took all the money off my card I still have to pay for this coffee?ā And said āyeahā

Not to mention Dunkin rarely has any product so to speak of. I've only been to the Dunkin one time for a reason. I had guests in town. I went inside to have it fixed and I was greeting by a manager or someone in normal clothes "would you like to order something else?" "No sir,my drink is wrong." He was talking to the barista on bar and she was like it was a cold brew, i knew it. You could tell they were all annoyed by this barista, who was no where to be found when I went in. Then when my drink was being fixed, this nice young man ignored and walked passed me. Turned his back while doing something..i don't know. We all have bad days, but at least acknowledge your customers especially when they are not happy with a product they paid for and that you indeed did not repeat correctly.
