Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs

Wow, wow, wow!!! I ordered a kids meal along with a grilled chicken burger. I do not know what's so difficult about ordering a kids meal with cheese and no pickles! I had to repeat it three times. I received my order and from the moment I get my bag and glance inside to check if everything was there, I look up to notify the worker I was missing the kids meal drink and toy. She had already walked away. I called her but she didn't hear me so I called by pressing the button and notify them of the missing items. The girl was coming back and she drops the juice on the dirt she proceeds to wipe it off and gives it to me. I tell her I would please like another and to please remember to bring the toy that comes in with the kids meal. She questioned me and I mentioned that she didn't give me an opportunity to tell her because she walked away and when I was call her she didn't hear me. As she is walking away, she throws the juice she was going to give me in the trash CAN!!! The nerv!!! She gets back to me with the juice and the toy and she has the nerve to question me once more!!!! Say what!!! I, for one, do not live in this town and do not know what kind of people she has come across in this area but I was treated as a lair and dishonest person! In fact, she had asked me if I was missing the burger as well, and I told said no, no just the juice and the toy thank you. Wouldn't you think that if I wanted to lie and when she asked me about the burger, I would have said yes! Just to geta free one!!! WOW!!! Also the chicken on my sandwich was very tough! I could have asked for a refund...

How can you be out of Dr. Pepper and regular Coke at 2:20 in the afternoon? We ordered Dr. Pepper along with some other drinks and when it came out it was practically pure soda water, you could tell because it was so light, but they brought it anyway. We asked the Carhop to bring us another one after they changed the tank. The Carhop went back in then came back out and told us they were out of Dr. Pepper and asked us what else we would like to order so we ordered regular Coke. He went back in and promptly came back out and said they were out of regular Coke...REALLY!!!!!...You're out of regular Coke?!?!?!? We ended up ordering Sprite, not really what we wanted. The Carhop was very nice and very apologetic.

Why didn't the manager come out and explain to us why they were out of two products they should always have instead of sending the Carhop, I'm sure it wasn't his fault they were out.

This Sonic needs to be run better, first they need more Carhops, we should not have to wait 20 minutes for drink orders when they were not that busy then not get what we want. Second they need to make sure they have all their...

I love Sonic as a whole, but this location has gone down hill since 2019. They used to take your order in a timely manner and you'd receive your order in a timely manner. I'm not sure what has changed to cause the service to go down hill but it has. My husband ordered from the app half an hour before we were to pick up. When we arrived we couldn't get them to pick up the call button for a full 20 minutes. When we finally saw a car hop she was passing out 99 cent coupons because of the back up. I informed her that we were there for our app order. She said she'd let them know but was still another 20 minutes before they picked up our call button. To which we waited another 30 minutes before we received our order. Decided to try again a week later but do drive instead. Still had similar results, 20 minute wait to order, and another 15 to get order. If I need my Sonic fix I'll drive further to another one. I suggest that if you are in a hurry you skip...
