Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in DeKalb Township

Good evening ladies and gents, in this review i will take time to reflect on a recent visit to the Queen of Dairy. Now, this establishment is known for their delicious selection of dairy products such as, rich and creamy shakes, the world famous blizzord, a simple vanilli on de cone and many other treats that will satisfy even the most stubborn sweet tooth. Just recently my colleague and i were on our mandatory lunch break, he had mentioned a "flamethrower" from dairy queen, i was completely perplexed about said product. He said it was a expertly crafted hamburger served at dairy queen. I thought to myself, how could this be, the queen of dairy herself has expanded into the realm of carnivorous edibles? We ventured to the store on dekalb avenue, we first encountered a very unenthusiastic cashier that eventually took our order, it was quite painfully awkward. After a couple minutes we received burger, the packaging was quite minimal, a burger in a bag, no napkins at all, this was very displeasing to Mr. Williams. We arrived back at his residence and unraveled the burgers, they were quite nice, cooked to perfection and the toppings tickled my taste buds. I do believe their was, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese products and of course, the special sauce which was so tantalizing. Now i dont mean to brag but i am the burger maestro and ive had burgers all over the place, I was floored at the fact that an ice cream shop could construct such a beautiful sandwich. I was completely flabbergasted at the quality of this burger, I would rate it an 8.75 of 10. I will definitely purchase many more FLAMETHROWERS in the near future, and to anybody on the fence about a burger at an ice cream shop, i do understand your concerns and worry, but do not fret, this burger is a top contender in the world of fast food burgers. ALWAYS A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THAT GIRL EMILY. While ordering at the menu board every request I asked for they vetoed. The lady taking my order didn’t even try to suggest anything. Not the best customer service voice. Waited about 5-10 minutes for our food. I asked the boy who ran my food who took my order and he said Emily. Came home saw one of my burgers were wrong. Called to get a new one, Emily again argued with my friend and told her she was rude. Within 4 minutes from the call I was there picking up the new burger. The same boy I asked for the name then told me I can’t get my burger because I didn’t bring the wrong one. Saying he need to see that’s its wrong. I asked for the manger. They’re still Holding the burger from me I see Emily taking the burger to the back for about 1 minute. I asked her what she do to it because it’s for my 3 year old daughter. I then asked her what’s her name, she lied to me saying it’s Sarah. Then I told her why are you lying I know it’s Emily. Then told me she can’t and doesn’t want to tell me any other mangers name. These goofies couldn’t hear me through the drive thru speaker so I was asked to pull ahead to the window. I got to the window and repeated myself a 4th time. Then she repeated my order and butchered it. Mind you at the time this was an order of 1 single blizzard that she couldn’t get right. When she repeated my order and I told her it wasn’t right she says (with an attitude) “what did you order”? I replied, is there a problem? She then walks away and gets her manager to come over to the window. I repeatedly asked the manager what happened and what the problem was and all she could say was “What would you like”? I would like you to get your staff in order and train them on quality customer service! Then I would like YOU to act as the leader you were put in the position to be and show some respect to your customer when your employee turns her back and walks away from me while I’m trying to order. Young, inexperienced high schoolers who don’t know the value of customer service and whom lack work ethic! Won’t be giving them anymore of my money. The service at this...
