I have been coming to this location for a long time. Sometimes twice a day. There is one employee that makes every experience less than enjoyable. She is a young girl with longer blondish hair. I should have asked her name today but since she doesn’t speak to you, avoids eye contact and basically throws your food and drink out the window it’s hard to have any communication with her. She is just unbelievably rude. The day before thanksgiving we ordered a few items when we got home the latte was ice cold. Tried to call 3 times with no answer. We went back later ordered more items and I mentioned the mishap that morning and said I tried to call. The same girl says, yeah well our phone lines are down so, if you would have come back we would have given you a new one. I told her I did not have time to come right back but I’m back now so I’d like to know what we can do. She says well we were really busy and training today so. I told her well that’s not my problem and if I pay $5 for a drink it should be made correctly. She shrugs her shoulders and said oh you’re here to another employee you deal with it. The other employee made a new latte and even though I didn’t need it and would have preferred to have my name taken down and a future credit applied I figured it was some kind of resolve. I came back this morning and spent $60 on donuts and coffee for family in town because I do think the manager (who is extremely helpful and hard working) and most other employees are generally kind and it is the closest location to my home. Later in the day I stopped in again to grab my son a latte on the way home and both the girl taking the order and the one throwing it out the window without a word have made me decide to never give that location another penny of mine. I don’t care if I have to drive further away to get my coffee without a side of attitude. Management, you need to be aware, the employees at this location and that one girl in particular are completely ruining the...
Read moreWent through the drive through this morning and placed a simple order of an apple fritter and some bacon. I know that sometimes people have seen apple fritters but don't know what they are called (they're the funny looking, lumpy brown donuts), so when I ordered, I described the donut I wanted and the guy assured me that they had some. When I pulled up to the window, I checked the bag and saw that they had given me a apple jelly-filled donut. This mistake has happened to me before, so I politely informed the young lady at the window that this was not the donut that I was looking for, and I described it to her again. She stepped away and another guy came to the window and told me that what they had given me was "all they had for apple donuts". I tried explaining what I was looking for again, because we were clearly having a miscommunication and I really wanted to know the "correct" name for what I was asking for in case I was mistaken. They tried to offer me a different donut, and when I inquired about the price difference, the guy walked away. I guess the decision was made for me, because some random man came to the window and instead of a replacement donut, I had a random amount of change shoved into my hand (I can't verify if its the correct amount because I wasn't given a receipt) and then I was shooed away--no literally, he made the 'shoo' motions with his hands.
I don't come here often, but when I do it's usually a pleasant experience. I have literally never had an experience like this at this location and I'm very shocked and disappointed by the treatment I received. Normally this would be something that annoyed me and I'd move on with my day, but I really didn't appreciate being rushed away from the window when I was the only one in line...
Read moreThe last three times that my wife and I have been here, the employees cannot seem to get the order right for a simple dozen donuts. We always order through drive-through. We typically try to order the same dozen donuts each time with VERY little combination. What they do is substitute donuts that they do not have without asking or telling you. The sad part is when you get home and realize that you spent good money on a dozen donuts there are about six of them that you do not want. The last time that we went was the last straw. I ended up calling them when I got home and realize they had messed up our order again. The store manager advised that when I want to order a dozen donuts I should come into the store so I can make sure the employees are picking the correct donuts that I want. This completely threw me for a loop and and made me ask myself one simple question. Why does Dunkin donuts have a drive-through? Another question that came to mind was is Dunkin donuts going to compensate me for coming into the store and making sure their employees are doing their job by picking the correct donuts based on a customer's request? It seems to me that I would be doing a Dunkin donuts managers job at that point. Needless to say my wife and I have boycotted this location. Moral of the story for all of the employees at this location is to take pride in what you do regardless of what it is. We are all paid to do a specific job if that is why we work. Learn not to be careless and to put your self in others choose. People work hard for their money and when they make a purchase, they expect to receive what they spend...
