I am quite disheartened to share this review, as my past experiences have been consistently positive. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was far from satisfactory, and despite efforts to rectify the situation, it did not meet my expectations.

Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found ourselves the only patrons present, with no other customers arriving. We proceeded to place our orders, and the wait time for our food was exceptionally long. Despite any explanations provided, we felt left waiting, and the temperature of the food was quite telling. Why would cold fries be served, and to add to the issue, instead of replacing them, they were reheated? How could that be considered acceptable? No one requested shoestring fries. The burgers were not hot and fresh, as the cheese was in various states of melting, indicating they had been sitting for a while. Given the extensive wait, the entire order should have been remade.

The complimentary beer was well-received by the individual who ordered it, while the complimentary apple cinnamon rings remained untouched. Furthermore, the reheated fries were not consumed.

I am deeply disappointed that my guests had this experience after they took the time to read reviews and trusted my assurance that everything would be satisfactory.

Del Rio’s hidden gem! One of the best meal I’ve had in a very long time. A very clean building and parking area caught my eye as I drove up. Very inviting! I stepped inside for dinner and was greeted promptly by a very friendly and helpful employee. He helped me order at the counter and showed me where I could sit. A cozy environment with a nice small plant on each table. Amusing wall art and pleasing paint job. There was a large TV playing music but not too loud. My order arrived and it was Carne Asada Fries and a 830 Kitchen Burger. Let me tell everyone that the Asada Fries were the best fries I’ve ever ate in my life! Well seasoned fries covered in avocado cream, pico, cheese and meat. Wow! Crunchy fries with beautiful flavors mingling together. The avocado cream was simply amazing. Bright and with a hint of zing These are a must try. The burger was outstanding. Fresh meat that was well seasoned and covered with fresh veggies and grilled onions. The bun was soft and perfect. I stopped here because of the great Google reviews. I was passing back from Acuna and needed to get a bite to eat before I headed back to San Antonio. Mo was extremely welcoming and helpful and made some great recommendations. I decided to treat myself And got the fried s'mores bites, fried pickles, burger and onion rings. Everything was delicious. The only problem was with the burger. I got the house Burger with onion rings, no tomatoes as you can see from the receipt I didn't see it as I was driving in the dark and it was not a pleasant experience as the consistency and texture is just something I don't do.
