Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Del Rio

This evening went to Visit Del Rio Dairy Queen and ordered 2 Banana Splits, upon receiving them we noticed the ice cream used was different, it was off colored and more ice granular not the white creamy ice cream Dairy Queen is known for. After talking to the manager I asked if ingredients had been changed he stated that no ingredients had been changed and that it was probably the machine not work correctly, I then asked him if he ever samples the ice cream to know if the product is up to the standards to be severed to the customers, as we all know Dairy Queen is known for their creamy smooth ice cream. Well this manager stated he never samples the ice cream. I let him know that he was going to lose customers if he did not correct the problem, at which he responded that the customer would go to Dairy Queen regardless of quality. Let me just tell you I will not be going back to Dairy Queen again. Not with this attitude and lack of product quality. Very poor ice cream quality and extreme lack of concern. It's my first time in this place in the city, I came from out of town, thought we try something different, I was familiar with Dairy Queen in another city but that was months and years ago. The burger was good, the regular fries was only slightly crispy, not enough to knock off a star. The place was nearly empty. Food service was pretty speedy, I would say. Likes the customer service okay.

What DID knocked off the stars was that there is ONLY the one trashcan beside the sink for trashing paper towels purpose. No public disposable toilet seat cover because PUBLIC toilet, which YUCK and definitely not helping due another illness rampaging around (I used the mini disinfectant spray I carry with me for things like this) or even mini trashcan for me to throw menstrual hygiene products in beside the toilet. Today there was no line! I tried a burger and a blizzard for the first time and both were really good. I also got the hubby a belt buster combo which he has had before and are crazy about. I also added a side of Jilitos also good. I ordered mini sundays for my kids they were happy! The cashier was very nice and asked me to move up to order because I have such a soft voice and have a hard time being herd from the drive thru speakers.
