Mi Mexico Restaurant — Restaurant in DeLand

I want to start off by saying, I come here every week for taco Tuesday. I usually dine In and the service is fast and exceptional. This week, I decided to order to go because I am sick and I have to work. This is not the only time that I have ordered to go, this is probably the third time. Every single time I order to go, something is made wrong For instance, on taco Tuesdays, we order the five crunchy tacos for five dollars when we dine in, we don’t have a problem the first time I ordered these to go, they ended up extremely soggy and were not good at all. We called to let them know because nobody wants to eat a soggy taco that can’t even stay together. We threw them in the trash, and whole heartedly expected them to fix it for us out of courtesy. We went to the store to pick up our remake, to our surprise we’re asked for the old food back. After we threw them away at home !? So we had to drive ALL the way back home to prove that we were being honest. Unbelievable. Today, I attempted to order a GROUND BEEF chimichanga, the SAME THING I get every week and I was given the wrong order— twice ! I came to pick it up, and he asked for my old food back again 😂

Can I just say, it’s one thing if somebody is repeat offender at your restaurant trying to get free food. But it’s another if you are screwing up the food and we are genuinely just trying to get the food that we paid for. It’s extremely disrespectful to look at someone and say oh you didn’t bring the old food? Do you think I was thinking to bring my half eaten messed up order? I just think that the courteousness when it comes to your mess up, should be dealt with a little bit more professionally. I would’ve given you a five star, but the constant disrespect when I order to go , has put you way too low on the pedestal. I’m here to give you some actual criticism to straighten up the way that you treat your customers when you messed up their food. Thank you...

FIRE MAYRA - worst waitress in history. Service is just TERRIBLE. Food is GREAT.

My ticket was closed out before the table was ready; there was no conversation from the waiter after she brought the ticket over and I said it aloud. She ignored my statement and continued to walk way.

Approximately 15 minutes later, I was tired of waiting for her to return so I walked to the front to get someone to assist. The hostess that sat us came and took our additional orders and I explained the situation and blatant disrespect. Nothing happened!

About 10 minutes later, our waitress came near our table to serve another table and I literally had to loudly blurt out, “Excuse me” in order for her to even acknowledge my existence. She finally brought our additional order but we didn’t receive our new ticket with the additional orders until about 25 minutes after that.

We literally spent most of our time waiting for anyone to even look at us. I’ve never felt so disrespected in my life. I’m a nice person and I did nothing to deserve this treatment and it’s unfortunate. I have no words. This is not okay!!!!!!!!!!!!! I eat here all the time and I just don’t get why the staff in this...

My kids took me here for Mother's Day I was kind of excited because years ago I enjoyed MI Mexico in New Smyrna Beach especially their queso .this time,new location,honestly it was pretty bad .the Queso was like water.I had the nachos,and I asked to sub black beans for the protein,but They dont serve them.really, but your a MEXICAN RESTAURANT!!? The steak in the fajitas was so skimpy it was hard to find amid the over abundance of veg. The lettuce On our dishes was basically white, hardly any green, daughter asked for extra queso on her dish, barely even got a teaspoon of queso on it..I usually eat all the rice sides my family gets,nope. Not today. Dried out,out, cooked,just..no.I usually take the leftovers home.Nope. 2 points because we ate it, but Noone wanted to go boxes..Lost points because there where no hand towels in the bathroom and the dryer didn't work, makes me wonder if employees are washing thier hands?? I've been I'm the restaurant industry for 30 years, and I absolutely hate to give a bad review, but there was just so much that could have been better, and I believe if you know better you'll do better.. Just a dissapointing meal all around..I've had alot...
