Food was pretty good, but I would not recommend going to this restaurant due to poor customer service. We ordered multiple items from the menu. We order some pasta (was good, heavy on the sauce, but order got messed up), calamari (dry and they forgot to include the marinara), chicken parm (very good) To start off, Caruso's in Selbyville must be new as when you initially call, it's their Georgetown location and they had to forward us to the correct location. They were very nice though! When they gave us the number to Selbyville, we had to call multiple times because their "hold system" never actually sent us back to the person taking the call. We called for the third time and got right through. We had the issue with how we were charged for the pasta. We asked linguini with meat sauce. We were told they didn't have meat sauce, but meatballs. He asked if we wanted it with clams and we said "No, just meatballs". We get there, pay, come home, open it up and see that the pasta dish doesn't have clams, but meatballs, but they charged us the price of linguini with clams which is $18.99. Surely enough we who back to the menu and they do in fact have linguini with meat sauce for $13.99, which is what we should have been charged for. All of this foolishness could have been avoided. lol We called and explained the issue and the person taking the call spoke to the manager. The manager said they can't refund the $5. All I'm thinking is...this doesn't make any sense. It was their mistake and rather than trying to resolve the situation and have repeat customers, they kept the $5 and no apology, over LITERAL...
Read moreI called in my order for a large pizza with toppings. I went to pick it up and it was $3.00 more than what was listed in the menu. I asked for a receipt and was not given an itemized receipt but one for the total. So I asked them why there was a difference and I was told it was due to me using a credit card. Ok - so I went home and calculated that I was charged 15% for using my credit card. That can't be right. So I called and asked the manager. He said that the toppings are $3.00 on a large (not $1.50 as advertised). I told him that they should only charge what they advertise. I asked for the owner (not available) so I asked him to have him call me. It not necessarily the money as much as the principle of 1) overcharging and 2) telling a customer 2 different reasons. It's probably a 15% tip (which I would not give them as I picked it up). Just saying - that's...
Read moreI placed a take out order. I went to pick it up and they seemed very disorganized. There was something that messed up on their computer when I tried to pay…which is fine things happen. My issue is that almost my entire order was wrong. I ordered 2 cheeseburgers, one plain and one with ketchup. They both had lettuce, tomato and pickles on them. I also ordered an Italian sub that should have had mayo, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and oregano….no onions or tomato…well it had onions and tomato on it….no oil…no vinegar….no oregano…and barely and mayo. The cheesesteak I ordered was also wrong and the bottom of the roll was all soggy. When this place was Ken’s it was our favorite place to order…probably won’t be ordering again from here…it’s just...
