I have ordered blue crabs before in small amounts 1-2 dozen large at a time. Yesterday I sent a friend there to get a bushel of medium blue crabs. She just lost her son to a lengthy illness and with some many people over she wanted to get some crabs to share with the adults and children who loved eating blue crabs as a family. It turned out to be the worst decision ever. The crabs were ordered as mild and were completely covered in salt that they had to wash them all prior to eating them. The crabs were very light in weight with very little meat inside. The overall taste was awful. With so many people eating them, unfortunately the kids and adults alike wasted just about all of them. I called the next day to inform them and to say the least the staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. Judging from previous ratings and comments I already know they will not take accountability or ownership of their actions. However, I was told ok and there is nothing I can do. We gave them to you in the afternoon you should t have waited til the evening to eat them. Then I was hung up on, so I called back to speak to a manager hoping we were just disconnected. That was not the case, the manager was just as rude and disrespectful. I told him of the ordeal they had and he said ok I hear you, we did give some extras in there due to the weight and hung up on me again as well. Who cares about the extra, stop giving bad product and refuse to be accountable. People work hard for their money and blue crabs are way too expensive to have to be thrown out because they give out bad products. They are going to get on here in response with their first of alls and second of alls. The bottom line is they are frauding and selling bad products and refuse to admit to it. You WILL Have better luck elsewhere and I hope they get dinged for selling cooked product under the government EBT program because I will be reporting them. Read moreUPDATE~ 2/9/2025 I drove to this location yesterday afternoon with my one year old nephew when I got there it took a little while and then finally a man came up to the front. I was asking him about the menu options and immediately I noticed he was being very rude and basically treating me like me, questioning him, was annoying him. I tried to push past it because I literally drove almost 30 minutes to get there so I ended up ordering two platters which would’ve came up to about $80. He told me I had to pay him four dollars to steam it. I asked, could I pay this with my debit card he said no I ended up finding three Single dollar bills in my purse and some change he would not take that so I had to get the baby. We had to go back to the car to search around for change when I came back in he still was being really nasty and I told him hey I have the three singles and about $.65 and change is that OK? This man was so rude. He pushed the money in the change back towards me and said no go somewhere else. I said you know what I am gonna go somewhere else because you’re being nasty and rude from the moment I walked in for no reason and I’ve never This type of issue in the past, I’ve always had pleasant experience experiences, which is why my original review was five stars and I even took a picture with Tommy and I’ve always had good experiences here but my experience yesterday I had to put out there because also people were calling and he was giving the people over the phone that same type of energy. It is very negative so I wanted this to be seen by the owner Because it was totally Uncalled for.

The past couple times I've interacted with who I presume is the owner have left a bad taste in my mouth. A few weeks ago I called in to order some crabs. They informed me they closed at 6. I got there at 6:05 due to some traffic on the way and they were so rude to me about it. I still paid for my crabs and I was polite as possible because I felt bad for being a little late and holding them up. Then today I called in again to order some crabs around 6pm. Their hours on Google state that they close at 7pm today. When I called the owner rudely told me they close at 6:30pm. I said okay and ordered my usual order which, might I add, is over $100 worth of crabs. I hang up and not even 10 minutes later the owner calls me back and asks me where I'm at and how far away am I because last time I came late to pick up my order. I was so taken aback by how rude he was. I just told him that I was no longer coming to pick up my order based on how poorly he spoke to me and I told him that his hours online state he closes at 7pm then I hung up. That entire exchange left a bad taste in my mouth because 1) the customer service is awful 2)the crabs aren't even the best in the area and 3) I'm pretty sure they're passing off medium crabs as larges. The only reason I continued to patronize this establishment all this time is because of the nostalgia factor as I have visited this place for years with my family.
