On Oct 10 2014 three of us we went to this restaurant . We were very hungry and we have ordered 3 chicken biryani and 1 goat curry. After tasting a spoon of biryani, guess what ! It was not a biryani at all. Probably some previous day left over chicken curry was mixed with rice and served as biryani. The chicken in the biryani was half cooked, we could feel the undercooked chicken while chewing. The Goat curry was ok , However we were not sure when this was cooked, it was hot on the top and cold under. "WE DID NOT EAT SUCH A WORST BIRYANI IN OUR ENTIRE LIFE ".
Service : WORST , The manager and the staff does not know How to Talk, and How to serve. The funny part is , When we complained about the biryani to the manager he was smiling . Shocked to see such kind of irrational behavior from the manager.
Price : Very Costly, For the same price, there are better places out there which can provide better food.
Literally i had to vomit after returning to home. Guys please think "not twice" but 1000 times before you guys go to this restaurant. WORST WORST . These stupid nuts will soon shut down their restaurant if they continue this kind of WORST and STINKY food . Better to SKIP this GARBAGE restaurant. Soon we are planning to lodge a complaint regarding their stinky food and irrational behavior to the respected authority...
Read moreI had a lunch buffet here yesterday on 8/11/18 and I was not impressed. Their buffet selection was poor and the food wasn't very tasteful. I used to have Indian lunch buffet at Palace of Asia (also on the Kirkwood Hwy but now closed for good) and their food was very flavorful and they had a better and bigger buffet selection. Maharaja lunch buffet did not have any red meat (no curry lamb or curry goat). The spincah puree dish Palak paneer had corn in it instead of paneer (Indian cheese). I've never had that dish with corn in it. Garlic chicken tasted more like something you would have in a Chinese restaurant. Chicken Tikka Masala was ok but the sauce tasted a bit diluted, not very strong flavor. The soup crackpot was tilted to the side, and the soup cups were the tiniest cups every (maybe 2-3 table spoon at most). There was one young guy waiter and when I asked him about the size of the soup cups, he didn't seem particularly concerned and didn't offer much help. I go to Indian buffets all the time. I am sad that Palace of Asia went out of the business because their food was much better. This place doesn't come close but they are still in business. If you are in the area and craving for some Indian food, I guess you can check this place out. Otherwise, look for a better...
Read moreA take out order of 4 items took an HOUR. Their own website (where I ordered) said 20-30 minutes for the food to be ready. I arrived in 25 minutes. When I arrived the person at the counter said my order had just printed out. I told them I'd ordered close to 30 minutes ago, and the guy said "no, it's only been 10 minutes since you ordered" (meanwhile I had email confirmation clearly stating the order was in 25 minutes ago) - but not to worry, they would have my food ready ready in 10 minutes. Nope - not even close to accurate -- wasn't until THIRTY minutes later I was walking out the door!! While I was waiting, there was literally not another single person in the restaurant. No staff, no customers. When the manager / owner had finally emerged from the kitchen with our food, I calmly explained my frustration. She basically just smiled. No valid response. Nor any apology, nor any offer for anything as a consideration for my extreme wait. She just kept blaming it on their printer (not my fault, at ALL). Meanwhile I ORDERED FROM THEIR OWN WEBSITE. Won't be going back here, no matter how good the food may be. Oh, and they also charged TAX (close to 10%). The problem is that we're in Delaware - a sales / food...
