Me and the boyfriend live nearby so we just thought to try it one day. Some of the BEST tacos either of us have ever had. I got the Quesabirrias and they were delicious. Better than some I just had about a month ago that I paid over double for. They were seasoned perfectly and they loaded it with cheese. Boyfriend got steak tacos that he inhaled in about three seconds and right away said he wants to go again tomorrow night. Also got some churros and they were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, get the caramel ones if you like caramel cause they are fire. Everything was made to order so the wait time is a little bit longer, but it was hot and freshly made. Definitely can’t beat the price either was their menu being insanely well priced for the area. One of the best restaurants I have tried since being in Delaware definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get...
Read moreSalty and uninspired. I was very hopeful for this new taco truck because they had a wide menu but turned out to be very disappointing. I tried a number of things; tacos, burrito, tamale and rolled tacos. Except for the rolled tacos everything was very salty. Too salty to ever order again. I guess if you're someone who reaches for the salt shaker first it might be okay for you. The taco meat was in cubes with no sear so I think they were pre-cook and chopped. No grilled onions; no grilled jalapeno. The taco truck just up the street on Kirkwood is much better. Also warning; if you don't like really had food. Both of the salsas were extremely hot. Often the salsa verde is a lot milder but not in their case. Sadly most of the food just left me with this overwhelming salt taste on my tongue and feeling like I wasted a...
Read moreI used to love this spot for a quick, tasty, and cheap lunch, but my last visit a few days ago really left a bad taste in my mouth. I ordered some chicken tinga empanadas (which come with three) and 2 steak tacos. But seriously, how does 2 tacos and an order of empanadas add up to $28?! Steak tacos used to be $2.75 and the empandas were $10! I get they probably bumped the prices due to inflation but how did we end up at almost $30 for lunch?! The food is good but not that good!! Plus, did anyone else notice they recently switched to a menu board without prices? Just feels super shady to me. Guess I’ll have to find another place that doesn’t try...
