Ocean Grill Longneck — Restaurant in Delaware

We liked this restaurant until tonight. We ordered a basic meal Chef Salad and Cheeseburger. After 25 mins my wife showed up to pick up the order and had to wait another 10 mins (no biggie) but when she got home (3 mins away), her burger was cold and the fries were soggy. It happens, again no biggie but when she returned to get a hot burger she was treated like she had done something wrong, questioned harshly argued with, and mocked. Not cool. The second time they got the order wrong. Wrong fries, no pickles or mayonnaise on the burger. If the original order was like this we woulda just kept it and dealt with it but after the confrontation we decided to go back again and let them know it was wrong this time and we were told not to come back! Apparently they don’t want customers who let them know when something is wrong. Sadly this is a common response from Turkish men especially when the customer is a woman. So we won’t be going back but it’s disappointing cause we actually liked the food 90% of the time. If you’re in the service industry then u gotta be able to admit when you make a mistake. Our first visit and it was not good at all. We don't understand all the great ratings and reviews. We were very disappointed with just about everything. The service was very slow. We and others waited about 3 minutes to be seated eventhough staff was just a few feet away and could have easily sat the waiting customers instead of going back and forth to the kitchen etc.

We had to ask for 3 times and when it finally came we had to ask for cream which our server went to another booth put her knee on the cushion and leaned and reached over another diner to get the cream from that booth.

My wife ordered grilled cheese and fries but received stale chips instead of fries and the grilled cheese was suitable for a small child's taste. $8.50

My Mini Meal Stuffed Peppers was 1 tasteless stuffed pepper, a salad and dessert for $15 and the desert turned out to be bread or rice pudding. YUK!!!!

We left most of the food, half grilled chese, all the fries and chips, and more than 3/4 of the stuffed pepper. We were asked if we wanted boxes and we said no.

As I said before, we don't understand the hype. Small portions, high prices, not exceptional service and the food, in our opinion, would be rated at the bottom of all the restaurants...

Worst experience ever. We came in at 11:30, my husband and I ordered breakfast and an order of scrapple fries and our son ordered the chicken finger and fries appetizer. After waiting an unusually long amount of time, our waiter comes back with the two breakfast plates and says they have no gas and can’t make the chicken fingers app or scrapple fries and asks if my son wants anything? Yes.. of course he would but we should have been told that before being served our food and he had to sit there with nothing. As he looked over the menu he didn’t see anything he wanted and we would have been done eating before he even got his food so he decided to not get food there and get it elsewhere after we left. My husband ate his breakfast quickly but I could not eat mine as one egg was yellow inside like normal and one was clear inside. I haven’t seen anything like this before so I would not eat it. We left very disappointed and definitely would never come here again. They did take my eggs off the bill but I think they should have done more. They were barely apologetic and a bit rude about how they handled it. Would give a zero if possible. Our bill for the one meal and 3 drinks was $17. They definitely should have comped the...
