We ordered delivery, our order was taken wrong, and we were over charged. when we sat down to eat the pizza we seen the order was wrong, which made since then why our order was so expensive. It was over loaded and covered in at least three different meats. I don't eat meat but my boyfriend does. He was so hungry he went ahead and ate a piece. I called to tell them about the mistake, and the lady on the phone sounded very annoyed and said that they would send another out. We offered to pick it up but it was said that it would not be a problem. It took over an hour and I was starving. By the time the pizza came my boyfriend had already ate and wasnt hungry. (considering the pizza slice was like eating a huge piece if sloppy meaty casserole). I ate one piece of the new pizza, and it tasted fine, nothing really special. That night around 3am I woke up in terrible sweats, and cramps. I had nausea and vomiting first, then diarrhea. I ended up in the ER for almost 7hrs, with IVs, puke buckets, and my boyfriend missed work. We have a toddler also so that made it even more interesting. Needless to say the doctor said I had a bad case of food poisoning. The odds that I was the only one sick and the only one to eat the second pizza (the payback pizza) cant be a coincidence. I dont understand because we were so polite about it, and if the pizza hasn't been so outrageous expensive, we wouldn't even have called back and bothered. I live a bit in the country so it is very nice of them to be about the only place to deliver to me, I've had a few issues but I really enjoyed their pizza. A while ago I ordered pizza, called when it was about an hour to inquire where they were. I was told that a driver had already come and gone. I asked why he hadn't called and was told that he had. They told me that he wouldn't deliver to me and just to pick it up. A few minutes later the driver calls and says he is nearby and will actually turn around and bring me it I say awesome and would have tipped well. Then I receive a phone call from a snooty "Manager" lady who tells me that the driver was misinformed and would not be delivering it and if I wanted it to come pick it up. I would have had she not been the rudest person I have ever spoken to. I cancelled the order and told them to refund me, as I would not be picking it up. She was rude about it but it happened. Then a few months later I start ordering without issue and they were very nice. I call today and guess what I have a note on my account that says DO NOT DELIVER. The person on the phone was very nice about it. Why won't they deliver to me, I am willing to pay extra, I am nice to every employee and tip well. They made the mistake and handled it poorly. Read moreI’ve been a customer for a couple of years and use to love this place, but the last couple months it seems like the quality of the pizza has gone down and the customer service has gone down hill as well. I ordered a pizza online a couple days ago for delivery, initially it estimated 35 minutes for delivery on a Wednesday night. After about 50 minutes and the pizza not being delivered I contacted Payne’s to which a lady answered and pretty much told me the pizza is not at the store therefore it’s on it was to be delivered. Another 20 minutes pass and no pizza still, I called again, a guy answers gives the same explanation, I tell him I want to cancel the order, he puts me on hold, then the same lady from before gets the phone and tells me it should be on its way with an attitude, I tell her it’s fine I don’t want it, by this point the pizza will probably be cold by the time I get it, she puts me on hold again and with an attitude, tells me my money will be back on my card, doesn’t say sorry for the inconvenience, nothing else and hangs up the phone.
