Hunn Nature Park — Attraction in Delaware

*Edit: If you have kids, you may want to be cautious. It's becoming common to see people either in their cars or on the trails getting high in the evenings. I guess the cops don't patrol the area like they used to.

It's a nice place to walk every now and then, and usually less crowded than some of the other parks in the area. My husband took me to the nature park for the first time today i.e. 10/1/20. The weather was beautiful and so is this new area. It borders water where we saw a crane. The trails are very well-marked and maintained along with many new trees having been planted and protected (from deer?) with wire fencing. It was a wonderful place to walk. We saw a woman jogging along with several other couples...

Peaceful, quiet and serene. Perfect place for a nice jog, walk or whatever picnic even. No trash cans though so you should bring a bag if you do plan on picnicking. Theres an outdoor restroom. But if you aren't comfortable with that the park is down the street from a wawa so you can go there. It's really nice there though. I go at least twice a week in the morning...
