I will not even give a star but I have to. We come to Rehoboth every year and we frequent RAH 2 to 3 times that week. We love the environment from the staff, the selection of beer, to the food. But after today’s experience I will never step foot in there again. I walked in with one of my sons friends that was 22. He gave his id to the bartender when asked he said it was fake. It clearly wasn’t. I did not have my id at the time so he could not compare my id to the supposed fake Id which is my fault. But they should have been more professional. When I went back with my id to show all CT Id’s are this way it went on deaf ears. Very unprofessional. Best manager could say is I have to back my employees. All I ask is do your job and do it right. We are there to enjoy time on our vacation with friends and family. For the past 3 years RAH was part of our week in Rehoboth. I have to ask what is training protocol at RAH. Because what you have is inadequate. You may be good with losing a few beers from us. But I hope people actually read this and decide whether to go there and support RAH or not. Why should anyone support this if that is how they are going to treat people that are willing to support a local business. This is coming from a small independent business owner. In the economy we are in no one can afford to treat their customers...

Ordered the blackened shrimp and flank steak grits for $25.

I ordered no peppers. They prep them together so I couldn't have them removed. I have a very mild allergy to sweet/bell peppers so I usually try to avoid them. Unlucky.

The meal came smeared in the bottom of a waxed cardboard box. Grits were still warm but everything else was tepid at best, cold at worst.

First positive I can report. The grits themselves were absolute fire. Great seasoning, great texture. As good as any I've gotten in NOLA.

The flavor of the sauce and flank steak were both excellent as well.

Now to the shrimp. I can't find the words to describe how disappointing they were. I was expecting crispy, well seasoned blackened shrimp. What I got were six ice cold shrimp that tasted and smelled like precooked frozen shrimp that were run under lukewarm water just long enough to defrost them. No flavor, no seasoning, no texture. Not even the usual profiles from the Meillard reaction. Wife confirmed.

On the other hand, my wife's Cuban sandwich was pretty good. Just felt like a swing and a miss from the kitchen on my entree. Disappointing and not worth the $25 we...

So disappointed today. We've been gong here since it opened on and off season and always found the food delicious. Today, we went with my son and was shocked to see all the uncharges on the bill. They never used to do that and it was a lot. Who charges refills on ice tea or uncharge $4. for a garden salad but $7. for a Caesar salad. Don't get the French fries instead of chips, uncharge $3.. I was afraid to go to the bathroom or ask for ice.

I apologize for my autocorrect misspelling "upcharge" to "uncharge". There were 3 in our party and we were charged for 3 ice teas and 2 birch beers. That's refills. I noticed you didn't mention the upcharges for the salads or French fries. I have ordered the same thing the many times I came in but don't remember ever getting charged for the those before. When did your policy change? I wasn't aware that either the manager or the owner was there. and watching whether or not I went to the bathroom. I saw the bartender, the waitress and a woman at the bar. My point though was the upcharges that seem recently to be added will keep customers like us, who really enjoy your restaurant away. I don't want to pay $85. +...

We popped in here for a table for 9 at 5pm when we were having trouble getting seated anywhere else. We were all quite glad that we did! The place is so well decorated, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is fantastic! We had an app of Crispy Brussel Sprouts, which were fantastic! Then we had 3 order the cod and loved it, 2 RAH burgers that were fantastic, a Blueberry Walnut Salad that was very fresh and light, a Mussels special that made my hubby very happy, and a kids hot dog (nothing fancy, but made the kid happy). All of us were impressed, and happy with our experience!!

This was a 'let's just hop in the car and drive to see what we can find for dinner that doesn't have a huge wait list' restaurant experience. We were happily surprised. Three of us had the salmon and my nephew is a vegetarian and he had the veggie sandwich. There weren't many vegetarian options for him but he was able to order a few appetizers and had the sandwich as his entree. The salmon was delicious! I would return. Oh and the service was very friendly.
