So, if you had asked me this morning where I saw myself today, I don't think I would have said sitting outside of a small taco shop, crying happily into a plate of the best tacos I had ever tasted. Nonetheless, that's where I found myself this afternoon, sitting in the sun with my wife on the patio picnic tables, truly overwhelmed by the taste and experience of the food and service here at Stop N Go. Kevin, the gentleman running the register and handling the front, was incredible. Friendly and welcoming immediately, he made excellent recommendations and was accommodating of some specific dietary needs(I can't handle cilantro and onions) with no trouble. My wife picked Tacos Al Pastor, her go-to, and I was delighted to see that they had Birria tacos and consomme, which is my personal favorite. After a short wait, Kevin brought our food out to us on the patio tables, and we quickly dug in. I can, with confidence, say that these are the two BEST plates of tacos we've ever had. The Pastor was juicier than we've ever had it, with huge chunks of pineapple mixed in alongside even bigger pieces of tender pork. The Birria and consomme were on a whole other level. The tacos themselves were great, loaded with soft meat and delicious cheese, and cooked to wonderful crisp. The consomme was truly the star though. Rich and incredibly well-spiced, with a delightful heat playing alongside complex notes of cinnamon and ancho, it complemented the tacos perfectly, and I brought the leftover home for another meal!!
All in all, this was a truly excellent meal, and I can't wait to come back again soon to explore more of their menu. Stop N Go Tacos gets my highest marks, and stands out as one of the best meals on the...

It literally pains me to have to leave such a scathing update for what once was our go to spot in Rehoboth but unfortunately I haven't been able to get an answer from the owner.
We visited the last week of September and I'm still scratching my head regarding our meal. Hubby ordered the Cubano Torta while I went with my favorite- Shrimp Tacos. First issue, hubby's torta came out about 10 minutes later while I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my tacos to arrive. The Cubano looked & tasted like the guy working the grill (doesn't deserve the title of chef or even cook) threw a little bit of everything he could find on a roll except what actually goes in the sandwich- chicken tenders & a hot dog were the highlights. When my shrimp tacos finally came out I immediately noticed that the fresh grilled shrimp I love had been replaced with what tasted like the shrimp you get in a frozen shrimp cocktail ring, freezer burn and all. I brought this to the attention of the young lady at the register but all she did was take our plates and return to waiting on customers who had just walked in. For the next 3 days both hubby & I took turns in the bathroom, I'll spare you the details but needless to say that was not how we had hoped to spend our last few days in Dewey. I don't know what the hell has happened to this place and while I would normally chalk it up to a mistake or a bad night and give it another shot I simply refuse to risk getting ill again. Looks like we'll be spending our money at one of the other Mexican restaurants in the area...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife had the consume de birria tacos and i had bought a beef, pork, and chicken separately to try each one (not a menu item). The chicken taco was pretty simple chicken, lettuce, and cheese on a flour taco; not what i would personally go for but an ok start if you dont eat real tacos often. The pork al pastor was delicious though, grilled pork with cilantro and onion on 2 corn tortillas which were flavorful and had great texture. Same thing with the sliced beef tacos; the flavors with the soft corn tortillas which soak up all the sauce are just fantastic. You wont find tacos like this anywhere in rehoboth or lewes. The consume tacos my wife had were even better. Served with a consume to dip into it was one of the most flavorful tacos ive had in a long time. The meat is tender and juicy and the cheese is great too, the taco soaks up all the consume and flavor from the spices which taste alot like allspice or cinnamon or something like that, which works really well with the level of heat it has. 10/10 tacos for a comparatively good price for the area. Do yourself a flavor and get one of the home made drinks they had. My wife had a mango pineapple drink and i had a tamarind one both delicious. 4 stars on atmosphere only because it was dark and we didnt know if they were open. Only complaint is i ran out of tacos and im still hungry. If you plan to eat here do yourself a favor and buy at...
