Fractured Prune — Restaurant in Delaware

My rating is not for the donuts, they were very good. its for the rest. Small parking lot, had to park next door. Line out the door and the air conditioning was off or not working on a 90 degree day. The young kid who took my order was friendly however, wow. Now I understand why the wait is long. There was one woman and one young kid making the donuts after they came out of the machine. Literally my four year old could move quicker. They had no regard for the crowd sweating and standing around. At times, the woman would take a break and go do something else, leaving the young kid to make the donuts by himself. He moved like a snail, and at one point, stopped to wipe down the donut making area for no aparent reason. Unbelievable. hire faster workers and this place would be outstanding.

The donuts saved the experience. i would go back without small children and have a coffee and wait by myself. Dont bring the whole gang. Long wait and no room...

I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew. My 1st visit this summer , cashier overcharged me. Didn’t realize til I had left and driven away. 2nd visit was 20 minutes before closing, but my niece had promised her nephew a visit here. I understand they’re getting ready to close it they made fresh donuts which was a plus but, toppings were skimpy and lacking. Kind of looked thrown together. They were quite a disappointment.Today my daughter did greet owner with an attitude, her fault. However , the owner greeted her back with the same type of attitude. I feel as the owner of a business you could have kept a lid on it as I did. I understand you get tired of dealing with the public and my ADULT daughter should not have behaved in this manner, but the owner shouldn’t have reacted the way she did either. Guess you don’t need the customers, cause you just lost one in me and I definitely won’t be recommending this place to...

This place was amazing it was our 1st time being here and we thought it was just a regular doughnut shop boy were we wrong this place was the best we have ever had. They make them fresh to order!!!! They have some many different way to top the doughnuts. We got a 6 pack and a prunewich. You have got to go. Sorry I don't have a picture of the prunewich we ate it so quick because it is between 2 doughnuts with bacon or sausage egg and cheese. They even give a Military discount so thank you Fractured Prune for acknowledging us Veterans. Just because we are retired doesn't mean we don't mean anything anymore it means we survived so don't forget us. Giving discounts only on memorial day and Veterans day only thanks us for protecting this great country for 2 days. We all deserve to be thanked no matter if we are active or now a Veteran. Salute to you again for being thankful to us...
