Update: Below you'll see my review from last year. We were in town recently and stopped by, hoping there'd been a change. There was, and it was wonderful. I was told that the primary culprit of the poor customer service was no longer working there. People were saying "thank you" and "please". People were actually smiling. Somehow even the food - which was really always great - tasted better, fresher. Maybe it was the low-stress environment to enjoy breakfast. On our way out, the person working the front said, "hope to see you soon". I assured that they would.

My girlfriend and I have been going here for four or five years, primarily because the coffee is great, as is the oatmeal and the egg sandwiches, as well as the pastries and other baked goods. However, I think we've decided to stop going. The woman who works the front counter, who may or may not be the manager, is completely obnoxious and treats her customers horribly. It's not unusual to walk in there and hear her screaming. Yes, screaming. There have been times where you can actually see the people in line looking at each other rolling their eyes or just flat out laughing at the absurdity of her behavior. We used to think it was because it was crowded and maybe the stress level was high but today we went in there and we were the only ones in line and all she did was yell at us. Yeah the food is good, but there are a lot of places in Rehoboth with good food. We'll go to one of...

If you want coffee that tastes like expensive water, I highly recommend this place. 3 coffees- a Latte, a cold brew with cold foam, and an iced macchiato were ordered. We received a flavorless cold brew, a watery latte, and a chocolate milk macchiato. With one of us being a barista, and the other 2 being seasoned coffee drinkers, it was clear that drip coffee had been used to make the drinks. That and the clear evidence before us of an espresso machine, unused. Food was ok. I definitely think this place benefits from its location and the fact that they are going to receive business regardless. Or maybe they just thought it wouldn’t matter much to us (a prejudgment type of thing); that we didn’t know any better? I would say maybe the espresso machine was broken but then we saw them use it later so- I really don’t know what to think. It ended up just being a hugely regrettable experience for us, and in the day and age of everyone being called a Karen who requests changes/refunds- we just took the L and left. Right after dumping our pretty full coffees in the trash. In this economy, it felt like a crime to waste- but the coffee was purely...

We have been going to the pointe for many years and have always enjoyed their coffee and all the different blends they offer. Their baked goods have always been very delicious. Typically i get their oatmeal with fresh berries and brown sugar which was always served in a bowl and was ample sized. Due to covid they are now serving it in a plastic container and it seems to be a smaller portion and is wasteful since i always eat there and do not take it to go. My boyfriend gets a bagel sandwich which he always enjoys. That said, every single time we have gone in the last several years there is a very loud mouthed girl at the counter screaming while she is taking your order. It is so bad we dont even want to ask the simplest question because we dont want to be screamed at. I thought it was due to it being busy and she was stressed however this last time we went it was empty and yet she still screamed at us. It has gotten to the point we dont even want to go back and will just find another place to go...

I am so disappointed in this place. It used to be on Point!! But the quality has just really gone down. Tables were dirty when we walked in and they were NOT busy. Had to ask for them to be cleaned. Ordered a salted caramel latte and a vanilla cappuccino. No flavoring in either one, and for $6 a pop, it should taste like heaven. NO flavoring, no sugar, no nothing… and the cappuccino was a latte. The food was decent. My husband ordered the Brie and Thank you sandwich. Processed turkey on the bread but the cheese and bread was tasty. How hard is it to buy fresh quality meat? I got the lox and bagel. It was also decent but nothing to write home about. I am sad to say that I will not be returning to this iconic Rehoboth landmark again. Ill head to anyone of the other quality coffee shops. So disappointing!

Ordered two cakes for my daughter’s first birthday party at the beach. They clearly were not paying attention or listening when we called in the order. The Smash cake was completely incorrect. It was white instead of lavender and we asked for rosettes along the entire cake and only received a small circle along the top in lavender. Our second cake as pictured was also incorrect. We asked for a simple lavender icing with white writing. The writing isn’t centered and they added rosettes we did not ask for. I’m very disappointed in the products we received for $130 worth of cake. You can barely read my daughter’s name. 1/10. Would not recommend for buying cake from this business. The cake was moist which was the only saving grace to this disappointment.

I've visited Rehoboth Beach many times, and I have see the "sticky buns' sign many times. I finally made a right and get myself a stick buns. Yummmm... I bet it would be even better when warm. The raisin sticky buns is what I got, and it was delicious. The banana pecan bread was so moist and fresh. My dogs are very finicky and they actually liked the peanut butter doggy cookies... Not love them, just like them. This coffee shop has so many different types of coffee. It is also a baked shop that sells jelly, cupcakes, bread, dog treats, quiche, etc... The young lady was so nice. I might stop by on my way home to pick up a couple more sticky buns. I recommend stopping by for breakfast, just coffee, or a treat.
