TLDR: Overpriced and overrated, disappointing. Came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. Long wait outside the door, but we had a reservation with our larger party. It took a while to get our orders placed. It’s a busy restaurant, so the staff is usually pretty busy. Our food took a pretty long time to come out. I measure service by how long it takes for them to fill up my water once empty and it took a long time here. Bruschetta (10/10): Great appetizer. The bread was crispy and the tomatoes tasted great. The combination was great. Shrimp Penne (6/10): Not really that good, imo. I found the sauce to have an odd taste (my GF compared it to burnt toast). It was very creamy. The description said it was a “light homemade lobster sauce” but I really don’t think it tasted anything along the lines of that. Special lobster pasta (7/10): Decent but felt like the sauce was missing something. I think the seasoning was lacking. The seafood in this dish tasted fresh, but again the sauce had more to be desired. Chicken tenders (kids menu, 1/10): One of the kids at our table complained about the tenders being bad and so he offered for me to taste one. I was really shocked as to how bad they really were. At a higher end restaurant like this, you’d really expect more. The crust was burnt. The chicken was EXTREMELY dry, like it tasted like they put the chicken in a dehydrator and then cooked it. The fries were pretty good though, but they were standard, tasted identical to buffalo wild wings. Filet (3/10): Depressing meal. The steak was dry and looked sad on the plate. I could tell it wasn’t going to taste good from the looks since it looked dried out. Steak that I cook at my house is 10x better and that’s sad to say since when I go out I want to taste food that’s better than what I can cook. Mashed potatoes were great and the gravy was unique and delicious. Crab cake that came with the meal was a disgrace… Added like $15 for a crab cake with a diameter of 2 inches… Definitely not worth it at all. In conclusion, I will not be returning. This place wasn’t worth the money at all. The food was just disappointing. Food took way too long to come out. And service was slow. Wouldn’t recommend. Over hyped. And I thought the presentation of the food was not good at all.

Nice large restaurant with fish decor everywhere. We had a large group of 8 and came a little after 5 on a Friday night and were seated right away. Quite loud inside and hard to hear each other. As we were looking over the menus, a small platter of packaged crackers and smoked tuna fish dip was served for the table. It was just okay and most of our group didn't go for it. The menu has a very large variety of fish and seafood, which was awesome. They have everything from raw bar, fried/grilled/broiled/baked seafood, to salads, burgers, pasta, chicken, and steak. The specials menu also has so many options, it's another main menu in itself. I love having options and variety, but this was quite overwhelming. What was really nice was that they had a dairy free menu, which was perfect for one in our group with a dairy allergy. After much deliberation, I chose a cashew crusted Icelandic cod served with a coconut sauce and rice. That was all delicious. For my side, I chose creamed spinach, which was was served in a small condiment cup that was mostly runny cream with sparse bits of spinach. It was basically a spinach sauce presented as a side dish, so I was very disappointed with that. To get my veggie fix I bummed a few bites of lettuce from someone's salad side which was a much better serving size. Though, his sauteed spinach side was also served in a little condiment cup. I also saw others with sides of fries and a cheesy baked potato dish which looked much better. Wishing I got that cheesy potato dish instead for my side, but I really wanted some veggies to go with my meal, which I didn't really get anyway. The worst thing though was after ordering off the dairy free menu, my dairy free companion was served a salad with cheese in it. They brought it back out again without cheese but then added tomatoes when it was ordered without tomatoes. At that point, he just figured he'll pick the tomatoes out instead of sending back again. They also forgot the fruit salsa for his fish. Others in our group seemed to enjoy their meals, so it's hit or miss depending on what you order. I would give this place another try but would figure out the best things to order ahead of time.

As a visitor to the area, I was excited to enjoy another dinner at this establishment for the 2nd time in a row with my family since my first time experience was great. Unfortunately, my family and I were left with the most sour taste in our mouths due to the bartender Corrine (Karin) at the bar Saturday night (8.16.2025). We decided to sit at one of the bar tables which we did the night before. We sat and waited at a dirty table when the bartender Corrine came over. No “hello”, no “how are you this evening”, only “what would you like to drink?”. We quickly ordered our drinks and asked for extra menus. We then received our drinks and she cleaned off our table, then told us she would be back, barely looking at us. Because it was a busy night at the bar I gave her the benefit of the doubt. She had customers at the bar to tend to as well, so we waited patiently. Unfortunately, our patience began to run thin when we noticed we were waiting for a long while without placing an order. We sat at 7:30pm, it was now 8:30pm and she hasn’t come back to us. My father flagged down a different waiter/bartender for assistance since Corrine seemed to be preoccupied. While this person was pleasant, he seemed to also get distracted by bar. I waved to catch the attention of Corrine and let her know that we were ready to order (and have been ready for a long time) to where she placed one finger up gesturing to give her a minute, it’s been over 45 minutes since we received our drinks, but okay. We spoke to one of one of the managers, Brad, who began to take our order. The second bartender came over to finish taking our order and we patiently waited while our food was being prepped. A bar table next to us became available. A man and woman stood next to it when to our surprise, Corrine was no longer behind the bar, but immediately cleaning off their table, placing plates and utensils down for them, even pulling over an extra two chairs so that the group of 4 can sit comfortably. I was quite shocked watching her run back and forth serving them. Without question she brought their menus and began to take their order. Within minutes they had their waters in hand. She never once looked at us. I stopped her mid-run to tell her that she never came back to us (even after telling me to give her “a minute”). She shrugged without a word a went back to serve her new customers. Immediately I felt disgusted. What did my family and I do to warrant such nasty unprofessional behavior from an employee we barely spoke words too??? I didn’t want to believe for a moment it could be because of our race. I didn’t have that experience the night before. In fact, It was the complete opposite and I was at the bar too!! The bartenders were friendly and spoke us, made us laugh, which is why I wanted to come back. We expressed our grievances to Brad, the manager, who tried to reassure us that Corrine’s behavior had nothing to do with race. That she could be going through something personally. If that were the case, which it wasn’t obviously, it didn’t seem to affect her interacting with everyone else around us. She seemed to dislike us heavily, whatever her reason may be. Brad and the other bartender managed to rectify the situation the best they could and for that I truly am grateful. It’s been an extremely long time since an employee in an establishment has made me feel unwelcome and I have just been reminded that people like that still do exist. Unfortunately, while people like her still walk this earth with whatever beliefs they have in mind it will never stop me from going into establishments and enjoying myself. I hope Corrine received the tip she deserved from the table ordering water and a slice of cake to split amongst four people. Corrine’s nasty attitude and lack of professionalism needs to be corrected and will never benefit an establishment that’s looking to continue to grow, ever. Her ignorance will be her downfall. Thank you to Brad for listening and helping turn our negative experience in to a somewhat...
