Since February a surprise dinner party planned for my cousin. Between February (ending) thru March 10 four phone calls have been made to complete/confirm reservations. Each time someone called staff kept saying they had no knowledge of the reservation or the name it was under. Again the name and number was given. The day before March 10th I called to confirm the reservation for 23people. I spoke to one of the staff and he told me the name I was saying they have no reservation. I explained to him that this very unacceptable because someone had called 1 week prior. The staff took the name down and the phone number, number of people and the time we were coming. I live all the way in south Jersey which is an easy 1.5hrs away from this establishment. I showed up early to the restaurant to check in. I was told by the hostess that they had no reservation down for the name given. I told the hostess who I spoke to the day before. The hostess went in the kitchen I guess to ask the person and 2 guys came out and peaked around the corner then with her then went back in. Shortly after the manager came out. The manager stated that he wasn’t aware of any reservation for today. I explained to the manager that this was highly unacceptable because 3 times previously staff has stated they couldn’t find the reservation in the earlier weeks. Unfortunately the tables were all booked and it would be a long wait. The manager said because of their error the restaurant would take 10% off the bill definitely not acceptable. Our reservation party eventually left 15mins and went to another establishment which we were seated In 5mins of entering. While waiting one of the ladies that had put the reservation in at 2 claws they called her back. Mind you according to them there was no reservation. The staff on the phone told her that if we wanted to come back we could but we wouldn’t be seated together and they only had room for 20 people. So where was the 3 people in our party going Most of our party lives out of the area and traveled to Delaware to celebrate a loved ones birthday. No one in our party will ever recommend here to eat. Communication is horrible I still don’t understand how they kept loosing our reservation!!!! I would really like for someone in the establishment to please tell me how does that happen. Read moreMy parents and I decided to go with two seafood boil combos for mother's day. I picked up the order and with it being in multiple bags was unable to verify that all of the items I ordered were included. After coming home and beginning to eat we discovered that one of the seafood boil combos that my parents ordered did not include the 1lb of Black Mussels that we ordered. As soon as we discovered this error, I decided to call to get a refund. The first lady I spoke to was rude and after "checking with the cook" assured me that everything was included. I specifically told her that they were not and her response was that I should take a picture and send it to the manager. I decided to call again an hour later and asked to speak to the manager. At first I was told to hang on while they literally just placed the phone on the counter. The next person that answered seemed to just pretend to be the manager. I had told her the issue with the Black Mussels missing and how I was asked to send in a picture and her first response was if I had sent the picture in. How ridiculous is it to ask a customer to send in a picture for proof like I am trying to scam them out of 13 dollars after I just spent 175 dollars at your restaurant which included a 9 dollar tip that I really regret at this point. After going back and forth with the "manager" named Stephanie, she first offered to give me credit for the next time, but I insisted to get the refund since I will never order from this store ever again. Read moreThis is my 3rd time ordering from 2 claws. The 1st time omg...the food was absolutely wonderful. The 1nd time there was an unknown pieces in my food. 1/2 crab legs and 1/2 shrimp- I called spoke to the manager she said it was pieces of mussels in my food and 9ffered 10%off. Ok cool. SO TODAY...I go by place my order, same thing, get my 10% off and on my merry way home happy and hungry. So I dig into my shrimp 1st with my daughter...its mushy...ok maybe I left it in the bag to long. Pick out 3 pieces that are fine. But after that each additional piece MUSHY. So my hubby says call them and he will return. Called the manager and said hi my order#40 she brings up my 10% off and says you complained about that last time...um, no ma'am I did not. After explaining she said oh yeah....I can return. This woman( the manager, thin and wears glasses) whe on my husband returned them for a remade batch counted them, complained, and said we o ly replaced the amount here. Um...ok. so this is my honest opinion about this establishment. If you look down on your customers and think we put to get over on you you are bias and wrong. At 1st I thought, I will just have to check my food before leaving, however, in light of the way I was treated a second time, not only will I NOT be returning, I will also be letting everyone I come in contact with know how I was treated, not once, but twice.
