Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Dellwood

Absolutely unacceptable experience. Yes, the food is good—but it’s not nearly good enough to justify the complete lack of professionalism and respect shown at this location. I placed and paid for my order online, expecting a quick and simple pickup. Instead, I was refused service at the door, forced to wait in a painfully long drive-thru line with everyone else—despite having already paid in advance.

To make matters worse, the doors were locked, even while employees were actively serving people inside. When I knocked and calmly explained that I had a mobile order, a staff member yelled, ripped off her headset in frustration, and stormed off—treating a paying customer like an inconvenience. It was aggressive, humiliating, and completely uncalled for.

I couldn't even request a refund without waiting through the entire drive-thru. And once I finally got my food? They attempted to short my meal and sauces, and tied the bag so tightly I had to rip it open just to check the order—which, of course, was still wrong.

This was not just poor service—it was hostile, disorganized, and entirely unprofessional. If this is how Lee’s Famous Chicken chooses to treat customers who use their own app and follow their own instructions, I’d strongly suggest going anywhere else. Save yourself the time, stress,...

I visited this location And went through the drive-through and asked if I can order a five piece chicken only white meat spicy. I was informed by the person taking my order that they don’t have a five piece spicy white only a five piece dark. I then asked what could I get that’s five piece spicy or four piece white meat spicy chicken only for $12. I again stated I only had $12 I could spend and when I stated this, I was laughed at. I didnt find anything funny about me saying that I only have $12. It was very insensitive, immature and sad to be laughed at over what’s in MY pockets. I usually visit this location twice a week. This will be my last time returning. I have never experienced this type of BLANTANT disrespect when ordering food. I was given a 3 piece spicy for $6.29 which still isn’t what I asked for. Would give you guys five stars, but why did you have to start charging for using the card? I’m an avid customer and I can almost guarantee you that this store makes a tremendous amount of money in this neighborhood. Without having to up charge for using a debit card. Why did you do it? Business is really booming at that Lee’s chicken You didn’t have to do that.
