Bewick & Co has officially ruined every other cappuccino for me. I swear they must have a barista back there whispering affirmations to the espresso before serving it, because it’s smoother than my best pick-up line. And the salmon toast? Let’s just say I’d fight a seagull for it. Perfectly balanced, fresh, and so good that halfway through I started thinking I might actually be living my healthy lifestyle fantasy…until I ordered a second one. On top of that, the staff is ridiculously nice like they could work at chic-fil-a nice, and the service is faster than my ability to talk myself out of ordering dessert. Stop in on a rainy day for a sandwich with a friend. First thing you should know is that there’s no interior seating (some outside but it was raining) so either you bring it home or eat in the car. The staff who greeted us was very friendly and engaging. I ordered a salmon and cream cheese sandwich and my friend ordered the roast beef sandwich. The daily soup seemed interesting (green pea, spinach and broccoli) so I ordered some. Both sandwiches were outstanding except I think I could’ve used a little more salmon on mine.
