I recently visited Cumbres Coffee Shop, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! This place has truly raised the bar for what a coffee shop can be.
As soon as I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior design is absolutely stunning, blending modern aesthetics with cozy touches that make you feel right at home. Soft lighting, comfortable seating options, and beautiful decor combine to create the perfect environment for catching up with friends, working on your laptop, or simply enjoying a moment of peace with a great cup of coffee.
Speaking of coffee—Cumbres does not disappoint. Their menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated, offering something for everyone, whether you’re a coffee purist or someone who loves creative and indulgent specialty drinks. I tried their signature latte, and it was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. The espresso was rich and perfectly balanced, with a smooth, velvety texture that lingered on the palate. You can tell they take great pride in sourcing high-quality beans and preparing each drink with care.
In addition to their fantastic coffee, their food menu is equally impressive. I ordered the avocado toast, which was beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, and attention to detail make their food just as much of a highlight as their drinks. They also offer a range of pastries and desserts that are impossible to resist—trust me, the cinnamon roll is worth every calorie.
The staff at Cumbres deserves special recognition as well. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. They were attentive without being overbearing, quick to answer questions, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a place where every team member seems so dedicated to creating an outstanding experience for their customers.
Lastly, I have to mention the little extras that set Cumbres apart. They have free Wi-Fi, plenty of outlets for charging devices, and a few small touches, like locally made art and eco-friendly packaging, that show they care about their community and the environment.
Whether you’re a coffee aficionado, a foodie, or just someone looking for a great spot to relax, Cumbres Coffee Shop is a must-visit. I can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return. Five stars all...
Read moreDel Ray, FL. This place is a dream come true for coffee lovers and the family that created it: Great vibe, great proprietary coffee, great pastries, and they support other small businesses by selling pastries from bakeries nearby. They import Colombian coffee beans and roast them, and sell bags of their proprietary blends in the shop, said Mariana.
Mariana made me an excellent cappuccino, while chatting and multitasking. They said the shop has been open about six months and every month their foot traffic grows.
It is super hard to find! Obey Siri. Siri will direct you down a side alley and dump you out, it seems, in front of a different restaurant. But continue down that narrow alley Siri had you on and you’ll find Cumbres. And you’ll be happy you did.
By the way, as I sat there in coffee bliss, a bakery owner came in to replenish some of the pastries, including some amazing gluten-free pistachio cookies. They tasted so much better than the gluten-free cookies I got for my friend’s birthday recently. The bakery is Pistachioli, owned by chef Robert Bellini.

Read more1st time there this morning, was greeted by the owner, a rarity and truly enjoyable as I got to learn about her journey that led to the opening of GOAT.
Location: Finally, a coffee shop NOT downtown and not charging downtown prices. Located in the up and coming Design Arts District, the location is exceptional!
Ambiance: Cool, minimalist, cozy vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating.
WIFI: Free, strong signal ( Plenty of outlets for your device charging pleasure )
Food: Had a cappuccino with oatmilk and a croissant with egg and cheese. Cappuccino was very good... no complaints. Loved the egg and cheese croissant for one reason: Real eggs, and not the reconstituted or pre-frozen eggs most coffee shops use these days. Quality matters.
Price: Higher than starbucks, but lower than the coffeeshops in Downtown area.
Events: They will be hosting live music, painting nights and so much more going forward
Intangibles: They serve beer and wine, with both having robust and reasonable selections.
My recommendation: Try the GOAT, you won't be...
