I purchased a REDPro Hair Steamer from this location on September 2, 2018. I was able to use the appliance with no problem 2 times. It was great. On my 3rd use, i turned the steamer on, no different than any other time, and the water would not come to a boil. So i did some research and some trouble shooting to make sure i wasnât crazy and still, NOTHING!! Clearly something is wrong with the heating element and this product has a defect!
I took the steamer back to the store as soon as i noticed there was such a major problem with it (09/22, my 3rd try with it was last night). I tried explaining this to the manager and he gave me every excuse He could think of not to refund my $99.99 plus tax. He even went as far as saying how he would âlose his jobâ if he gave me a refund, how âitâs not cost effective for the store to offer refunds... foolishness...
He couldnât even look me in my eyes. His bottom line was to make sure i lost my money, so he could protect his.
You buy an appliance with the intent to use it whenever you need it, not to use it a set number of times, and certainly not 3 times!!! It hadnât even been 30 days. You expect the appliances you buy to actually work. A hair steamer! Not shampoo or conditioner! He tried to cut me off and make me understand the businessâ position, as if he didnât understand that at the end of day, i was sold a defective product, an exchange was impossible (because they didnât have any other steamers available at his store or others), and that a simple refund should have been the proper solution.
In the storeâs defense, store policy is store credits and exchanges, but not refunds. The manager did offer to order a new steamer from whomever, but i asked him what to do if the new product didnât work and i wasnât satisfied with his answer, i really lost faith in the situation and didnât want to bothered with it beyond getting a refund. I actually spoke to one of his employees before the purchase and i was assured i could bring it back if something was wrong.
I wouldnât buy any hair appliances or tools from this location, simply because you wonât get your money back if the appliance is faulty or doesnât work. Definitely try a major retailer first! This was my only negative experience with this store. Theyâve lost me as customer...
Read moreBeing a first time shopper the experience was horrible. The cashier didnât say good morning or a welcome atleast. She was busy having a conversation with other people. Iâm walking around looking for help and didnât see anyone til i walked back to the front. One girl was helping all the customers. Once she helped me with the wig, i asked her what product do i put on the hair to make it more flat ? He response was itâs spray over there. I told her i donât know what to buy because i donât do hair. And she repeated the same answer. So i walked to the shelf to look she points out a shining spray i was like are you sure i without going to check or look to see if itâs the last one. I said itâs fine because Iâm in a rush. And the last question got me questioning do she even understand my question. She said so you want this human hair or synthetic? I replied is it human hair in this same wig ? She said and response we have a lotta different human hair on the shelf in the in the back. I said never mind and proceeded to the register the cashier was attending someone waiting on the payment. She just stared at me with a nasty attitude like she didnât want to be there. I read the customer service sign by the register and it wasnât giving 100% it was...
Read moreUnfortunately both times I shopped the store, I was very disappointed. I noticed other reviews mentioned the manager was a male. I was told by an older female cashier that she was the manager, and in addition they had several managers for the store, with a smirk. Each time I asked for help, it seemed as if I was bothering the worker. After waiting for help in the wig section, I was told, "I'll be with you, just go over there and wait." (Rude). And wait, I did. When the worker finally came, I asked her for help locating a wig because it didn't seem like it was there. She said to me, "It's here." and just stood there. (Confused...did she not understand that I wanted to purchase it?) Not a native to Florida, so I am utterly shocked by the level of rudeness I have experienced since moving here. I am hoping and confident this isn't indicative of the entire state, but it definitely is strange that customer service is a nuisance these days. If there is a manager, please remind the workers there, there are other places to go in addition to online. One can simply take a picture of the wig, lol, and purchase it online. Customers come for the customer service experience, not the...
