Silver Wok — Restaurant in Delray Beach

I wouldn't even give them one star, Very disgusting attitude and terrible customer service from both the wife and husband!! I called them to place an order as I work in the area and was looking for a good chinese spot, they take forever to answer the phone and when I asked if they have fried chicken wings they told me it wouldnt be available until dinner hours that was already odd to me because wings are the standard when you go to Chinese rstaraunts. so I then asked if I could order a small orange chicken and the guy stated it doesn't come in small only large so I asked him how much the large was and he said 13.00!! So I told him if he could make it a small I'm only one person and he rudely cut me off and said it only comes in large. Okay cool I was still willing to give this place a chance I drove to the location and ordered sweet and sour chicken and number one when I walked into the store I received no greeting just rude stares from them both until the wife finally came up in the front and asked me what I wanted, so I placed my order for the sweet and sour chicken and advised the wife that I wanted fried rice instead of the white rice that comes with the chicken and she rudely yelled and kept repeating that the meal can only be made with white rice instead of just allowing me to have it with the fried rice. That was another turn off and when I received the meal it wasn't even what I ordered and I told them I ordered chicken not breaded rolls with fried rice and they both yelled at me saying that i need to stand by what I ordered and that they will not correct the order and when I asked the husband why he was yelling at me he yelled that's how he talks and that's his character I'm in total disbelief that they would run there business that way they made zero attempts to rectify the situation and would not offer to correct my order and would not refund me!. Complete lack of compassion and manners towards there customers I wouldn't give them a penny of my money...

Our favorite Chinese restaurant closed so we were looking for a replacement. WE have tried many in the area and they were just average.

Read a review of Silver Wok and decided to try it.

A storefront take-out only restaurant in a strip center. Obviously a husband and wife team. Quite an extensive menu.

Tried combination dinners. included wonton or egg drop soup, egg roll, pork fried rice or steamed rice. Wonton soup was very good, egg rolls, just fair.

I had the Szechuan Pork ,nice and spicy with lots of vegetables in a brown sauce. Nice portion and very good.

My wife ordered the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce , she said it was bland and very few shrimp.

Definitely will order...

I was introduced to Silver Wok by my neighbors, I stopped by 1 day as they were getting ready to eat and I was amazed at the abundance of food!! That was about 13 yrs ago & I refuse to order from any other restaurant. I usually order the Honey Garlic Chicken w/ pork fried rice, which comes with soup & 1 Egg Roll, and I also get either fried or steamed dumplings (6 dumplings in order) and WOW! They Are DELICIOUS! Sometimes I can't finish them and I save them & heat them up the next day & they're great. I've also tried their ribs & the meat is tender! In all these years I've never been disappointed, they are consistent in providing abundant, quality, tasty...
