First time here. Was greeted warmly and promptly. We arrived around 3pm and there were at least 10 other guests there. The restaurant was very clean and nicely decorated. We were seated very quickly. Our server was hard to understand due to a thick Mexican accent and hard to hear over the loud music. We munched on the warm tortilla chips and fresh... oh soooo delicious... housemade salsa. (It has a slight kick to it!) The restaurant has a very large menu that offers a selection of the typical Mexican dishes. We ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas and white queso dip. We were both very disappointed in the queso...it was very runny and thin. Unfortunately, we sent it back to the kitchen. The fajitas came out quickly, sizzling on the platter...with red & green bell peppers, onions, strips of steak and 6 shrimp. The shrimp were an odd orange color, but were very tasty and perfectly cooked. This was served with refried beans, Spanish rice (not impressed) fresh made pico de gallo, quacomole and sour cream. The tortillas were warm...but very thin and of low quality. Thier drink selection is typical of restaurant offerings...but, their drink prices were a bit too high for the atmosphere. Our meal plus a glass of tea was $25. Over all, it was a great meal and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good...
Read moreI recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. I ordered the lunch burrito, which had no description as to what it was. I got the ground beef option. It turned out to be a wet burrito, which unfortunately fell flat. The burrito consisted solely of cheese and what tasted like canned ground beef, with no noticeable seasoning or authentic Mexican spices. It lacked the depth of flavor I expect from a dish like this, and overall came across as quite bland.
That said, the service was quick and the staff were very friendly, which made the visit pleasant. The atmosphere was also decent—clean, casual, and comfortable for a quick meal. While the food left something to be desired, the overall experience was still passable thanks to the hospitality. I’d consider returning to try a...
Read moreJust a little feedback...we have dined in and gotten taken out several times as we live nearby. The food is good. I was motivated to share a little feedback tonight - I tried to order a take-out order from the website but the Clover app only has a partial menu and didn't include items my family wanted (shrimp chimichanga and chile colorado.). So I called to place an order and no one picked up the phone. So I stopped by. They did take my order promptly and it was ready in 15 minutes which was nice. Opportunity for improvement - the shrimp chimichanga was not very crispy and I ordered it without onions due to my partner's allergies but there were still onions in the salsa and a definite onion flavor. The spartan burrito was fine, kind of dry. My son enjoyed the...
