My family and I went here yesterday evening and ordered our food. We proceeded to wait almost a full two hours for our meals (that were served cold and inaccurately) only to have one meal comped. I paid $2.99 for one glass of cherry coke as we did not receive refills and we had to get up (after having waited for an eternity) to ask for syrup. I received exactly 11 French fries and the wrong patty on my sandwich as well. My son was served sausage that was reminiscent of cold hockey pucks. The food was absolutely not worth the wait or the money. The manager came out upon my request looking rather perplexed and explained that they were “running behind” despite multiple tables getting their food before we did despite the fact that they arrived after we were seated. The same people left and cashed out - again, you guessed it- before we had our plates. Said tables also came up to us when they heard the exchange between the manager and I and told us we were right. Hated to be “that guy” but they need to do better.

I've never been here and thought of giving this food a shot since coworkers wanted to eat breakfast here. All the neat things from back in the day was pretty neat when you walk in. It has a country at grandparent's home kind of feeI. I thought the food here was just okay. I understand they were pretty slammed for a Sunday, but it just wasn't great in general. Comfort food in general is pretty bland, and everyone knows that. To that, add super long wait time for food and mediocre food and forget a few things from the waitress, and you'll lose a customer. My coworker wanted well done Sunny-Side up and she received scrambled. I wanted Well Done Hashbrown casserole and the waitress forgot. When she brought it for me, it was just a regular hashbrowns. I ordered the sampler with 2 sides (Chicken Dumpling and Mac N Cheese). My chicken and shrimp was overcooked. Mac N Cheese was bland and not broiled. On the plus side, Biscuits tasted on the fresh side.

It has been years since I've been to a Cracker Barrel. My husband and I went to this particular restaurant this past weekend. I was sorely disappointed. I had chicken and french toast. The chicken was really good. It tasted like the KFC of old. The french toast was terrible. It was way too soft; no flavor, no cinnamon, and no powdered sugar. My husband had a full breakfast with plenty of food. He had an Old Timers breakfast plate. Eggs, sausage, hash brown casserole, and biscuits with gravy. It was adequate but not enough flavor. The service was good. I will go back, but only for the store. That store has so many things and the prices are decent. The best we ate there was the Biscuits Beignet. They were amazing!

My personal opinion of the atmosphere doesn't reflect the decor, I mostly like that. But it's always so loud in there because of the open layout. Can't easily have a conversation.

The service I've gotten has always been great. Friendly wait staff. When I've had problems the management has always been fair.

This leads me to the most important part about this restaurant; the food. It used to be great at this location. For the past two years or so though the food quality has been very inconsistent. I really actually like the food that they serve there but when it's not consistent then I can't rely on it tasting the way I expect it to taste. The most important factor of consistency for me is the grits and the gravy. Used to be the grits would always have a consistent texture be smooth and taste delicious. I've given this restaurant at least four chances and every time the grits have been either lumpy, too dry, too wet, or not seasoned well enough. I don't eat grits anywhere else never had them that I liked except for here and now I can't count on that. The gravy that they serve along with the biscuits has the same problem. The last several times has either been too thick or too thin or under seasoned or lumpy. The very last time I tried the grits the lumps were the size of dice, and in my small cup of grits there were five dice sized lumps. I have never liked that they don't have regular sausage links. They have that smoked sausage or they have turkey sausage but I don't like that stuff I just like sausage links which they don't have. Also their bacon is always floppy and disgusting in my opinion. Too thick too greasy and not crispy. Generally speaking other food I eat there has been okay except for they seem to always under cook fried eggs. I like a runny yolk but I don't like runny whites and I always get runny whites unless I order them over hard. On a positive note they've recently gotten actual properly made iced coffee drinks that are delicious. But at $3.50 each with no refills they are definitely pricey although probably still worth it. My fiance is loyal to this place but she's going to be disappointed because I'm not going...

One star only on this visit. This is a bad review for 2 reasons. Spills on the floor are a very big deal !!! Lunchtime rush 1120am I spotted 5 wet places on the dining room floor. Told bus-person who spoke to hostess immediately. Hostess told him someone stepped in something and tracked it around, don't worry about it ?!?!? So bus person ignored it. Told a manager next about all 5 wet spots, he immediately asked an employee to put up wet floor sign and get a mop but they only cleaned up one spot even tho I told them about every wet spot. 3rd person I told was a waitress who immediately wiped up every spot with cleaner and a paper towel. Well Done young lady sorry I missed your name. Tomatoes they I was served were so old and expired that they were clear ! That contaminates everything on the plate ! Anna our waitress was EXCELLENT, 5 outta 5 stars for you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and 5 stars for waitress who cleaned up the multiple spills ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Response to owner 11.722 . No more info is necessary, do the right thing and TRAIN these people properly or find new ones. It's not that difficult....... My visit this evening 630pm was much better. Waitress Frankie is amazing, smiling, fast, friendly, cleared used dishes quickly, and well trained ...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 outta 5 stars for her !! Hostess Kaitlyn has a smile 😊, quickly recited the specials , allowed me to choose a table since it wasn't busy, and quickly helped.when I needed a 3rd napkin ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 outta 5 for her ! My steak was ordered medium but arrived med rare with lots of blood and juice on plate (filled 2 1/2 large napkins!). cornbread, broccoli, coke, and mash pot were excellent.Steak was dusted with some yucky seasoning so I will ask for it without next time. Consider warning guests or put clear details in menu. Great sirloin with very little fat or grissle. Raising review to 2.5...

I understand it's Thanksgiving and they are short-staffed with a very limited menu. But this is ridiculous. I ordered a Thanksgiving dinner on the app and scheduled to pick it up at 4 PM. The app told me to pull up into a parking spot and then check in through the email that they sent me. I got there, checked in on the email and waited. 20 minutes later... nobody has come to my vehicle with my food. I tried calling the store...TWICE!!!!! The phone rang about 30 times ( no joke!) before anyone picked up. The girl on the end of the phone was a bit sarcastic and told me that I needed to go to the back door of the restaurant to get my food. WHAT?????Ohhhh....I'm thinking maybe they should have posted signs outide or something on the app would have let a customer know where to go? Now my food is going to be cold!!!!! UPDATE: Got home with my COLD food. Two thin slices of turkey breast were very dry. Cornbread stuffing with gravy was delicious. Green beans were very bland and soggy. Sweet potatoe casserole was horrible...all I could taste was orange zest. The portion of cranberry sauce was very small, but tasty. The rolls were cold and hard. (definitely not the rolls you get inside the restaurant) The slice of pumpkin pie was decent. Overall grade..I give my meal a C-. I used to love taking the family here...but not anymore. Prices have gone up and food quality and portions have gone way down. Quit dumping your money into the "store" and invest it back into the restaurant!!!! You need to do better!! I probably...
