Hardee’s — Restaurant in Deltona

After having stopped a few days ago at a Hardees in SC on my way home from IL and enjoying what I ordered (A couple bacon cheddar doubles, subbing NON sesame seed buns due to SEVERE allergies to sesame seeds), I thought I had found a new favorite fast food burger place. Went to the Hardees in Deltona (right across the street from the Mac Donald's which had been my go-to place for the past few years, who never EVER gave me issue about subbing the buns) and ordered the same Hardee's order I enjoyed in SC, only to find out that there was a few dollar extra charge for the NON-sesame seed buns. I asked why and the clerk told me they were an extra charge. I told her the request was for medical reasons. She told me it didn't matter...the extra charge stays. I then told her this was not the case in SC, which did not phase her: She just told me the inflated total again. I told her I would go to Mac Donald's and that they lost a potential regular customer and I would suggest to everyone I know to do the same, and left. I was not asking for anything EXTRA. I was asking for buns which would not send me to the E.R. I eat out 4-7 times a week. Their loss...not mine. I would give ZERO stars as I got ZERO from this Hardee's, but it is not possible to do so, so they have one free star on me. VERRRRRRRY disappointing!!!!! NOTE: I do give Mac Donald's FIVE stars for a TERRIFIC meal WITHOUT the up-charge or the attitude. Again...Hardees'...

02/04/2021 We stopped in the dining room for a quick bite. My wife hasn’t been out to eat in a while and commented that the prices of the burgers were high. Our order taker William said Hardees burger were extremely expensive. We wait about 12 minutes to get our order. Our order came with no condiments. We asked for horse radish, BBQ sauce, and Ketchup. My wife took the order to the table. Instead of getting our condiments William took the next customers order and opened several rolls of coins. I asked again for the condiments. He continued opening the coins then asked, “What did you need?” I was so frustrated. By the time we got the condiments our onion ring were cold.

2/10/2019 My order was not correct and when I went back to the drive thru window the drive thru cashier told me, I did not order what I ordered. My adult daughter was in the car when I ordered and confirmed to the cashier it was exactly what I had ordered. The cashier then stated, I ordered what was in the bag and that was it. I asked for a manager and sat at the window 10 minutes, while they located the manager outside. The sandwich was corrected but the remaining order was now cold and not replaced. This is not what Hardee’s was about when it was formed. I had the pleasure of being a general manager, multi unit manager and a training manager for Hardee’s Food Systems and this is not how a Hardee’s manager or drive thru cashier should...

Ah Hardees. My go-to fast food place as of recent. That is, it is... What it is. A fast food place. That's not to say the food isn't delicious! This particular location is reliably fast and usually kind staffed. That is of course, on a revolving door of staff. I usually get chicken tenders with their hot honey sauce which is easily listed under tasty and comforting. Their fries always come out crispy and perfectly salted as well! I will say the few burger products I have tried I liked much more than other fast food establishments. I did love their limited time prime rib sandwich with amber sauce. The option to substitute your bun with their soft and buttery sour dough is also a great addition. As for breakfast, I've been quite often. It's probably a personal thing, eating too much of their gravy does not make me feel pleasant- that's fine though, when you consider how light and fluffy their biscuits are, as well as the scrambled egg. Juicy sausage, and savory ham are also parts of the lovely aray of breakfast goodies you can enjoy. As mentioned above, this is ny go-to fast food place. They have exceptional service speed with a decent price point... And their...
