Deming Truck Stop — Restaurant in Deming

If you are a driver of a semi and decide to park in the semi truck lot that's directly to the right once pulling into this place- BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!!! there is a huge drop and absolutely no signage warning of this. Don't find out the hard way like myself & the driver of our semi did... This drop was so violent that the driver hurt his head, our dogs went flying, a drink that was secured in a cup holder spilled everywhere - 44 ounces of soda all over the place , finding it's way to some very important documents...this incident lasted probably less than a minute but it was extremely unpleasant. We did however have to spend time that we did not have to spare ( as our driving time for the day was getting closer to ending than from where we needed to be, calming the dogs down and cleaning up after the aftermath of such a stupid thing that happened that could have been easily prevented if we had been warned to drive around this drop to where all the other trucks were parked at. I dunno maybe a sign would help! And I've contacted the owner to give my suggestion of said sign .. we'll see if I get a...

When I say this Indian restaurant should be a five star with a long line out the door, I'm serious. THE best Indian food I have ever eaten, and Im currently 30.

The atmosphere: Its definitely not a pandera or applebees, but then again it doesn't smell like EVERYTHING was drenched in cleaner. It's what it is, small town dining that is very well kept; including the bathrooms. Reminds me of those old diners from the movies. (Excellent located for the hit 80's theme Stranger Things, just saying) Simple and pleasant with a nostalgic old school feel.

The food: Wow. Just wow. It doesn't look like an Indian Restaurant at first glance especially from the location (Right in the middle of a small desert town at a gas station stop) buts it's worth it. The bread is freshly cooked, the chicken curries are not bland but not over spiced, and the beans are evenly cooked. Lots of vegetarian options for people with difference eating preferences. They also have an excellent non-sugar Chai Tea, or with sugar...

It’s mainly a “head shop”. One quarter of the shop has “tobacco” pipes and other “tobacco” devices and accessories. The women’s bathroom was clean or so I thought, there are two stalls, only one working, I swear some women are nasty as F. LADIES! If you are not going to sit your butt on the seat, RAISE IT BEFORE YOU STAND OVER IT TO PEE! If you do pee all over the seat, CLEAN YOUR PEE OFF THE SEAT!! Don’t no body want to come in and have to clean your body fluids off of anything!! AND PLEASE FLUSH THE TOILET! If you are the only woman in the restroom when I come in, and there’s only one stall working, YES, I know it was you who used the stall before me. YES I do know what type of person you really are. 🤢.
