Punjabi Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Deming

It shows that everyone that works here wants this place to do well. I went in November and finally got to sit down and have the buffet with a few friends. They always say to stay and have the buffet it is better priced, and when eating with friends there they served us fresh naan and roti while we ate. I have NEVER had table service like that living in 4 different regions.

I sampled every buffet option they offered for hot food and it warmed my soul. I wasn't really a fan of the salad or dessert but ive NEVER gone for that at buffets anyway. I remember I had chicken, lentils, potatoes, all of it I loved it all and I wish I would make more time to sit down and get more comfortable. Price is fantastic. They had hot tea at the counter as well. Menu selection has a small variety that is done well.

For 3 people it was under 60 dollars for well made food, and friendly service, and if you intend to tip bring cash. I also wish that I had remember to exchange names.

OH MY GOD,!!! What absolutely amazing food I love the indian flavors and after being on the road for a while, I was really starting to crave them I saw the sign and I decided to take a shot and man oh man I tell you I was not disappointed !! Flavors are fresh and clean and vibrant and everything they should be . The naan and roti is to die for . Everybody should absolutely let their guard down and come taste. Good Indian flavors because this is where it’s at.

We three stopped on our way from Tucson to Santa Fe on the recommendation of our daughter’s friend. The truck stop was closed (under construction), but we wandered around to the other side of the main building to find the restaurant. They had several luncheon specials, but we ordered 2 dishes from the dinner menu. What a delicious feast!

We tried two chicken dishes (butter chicken and chilli chicken) along with naan, aloo parantha, and mango lassi. The meals came with rice, fresh raw vegetables, two hot vegetable sides, and a cold yogurt-based dipping sauce, with a rice-based chai sweet dessert. So much food that the three of us could not finish it all…enough for another 2-3 meals. Everything was high-quality, made fresh, and to our preferred spice level.
