Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Denham Springs

I haven't ordered chicken from this particular restaurant for roughly a year since the last experience I had there was awful. The food was inedible and the service was so poor I ended up throwing the entire thing away a few minutes after eating it.

I ordered again from them just this morning (via Door Dash) and I'm barely exaggerating when I say what I had this time was lightyears better. The order (3 piece combo with Dr Pepper and an extra coleslaw) came perfectly, with utensils, was on time, everything was great but the chicken and biscuits (the important parts) were delicious. Not too salty, not dry, perfectly cooked, nice and clean, generous portions.

I'll be ordering from here again. Keep up the great work.

Also: I advise ordering early in the day whenever possible. Most of the complaints are about "dry" meat and no matter where you buy legitimate fried chicken (not tenders, not Chik-fil-A) it's going to be dry late in the day.

Never go to this location again, ordered at drive through there were only 3 cars ahead of me and took 35 minutes to get to the window to pick up my order of 3 chicken tenders and biscuit witch took another 15 minutes. I saw the order only came with 1 creamy jalapeno sauce, when i asked for 1 more she said it would be another dollar. I said never mind just give me my money back for a refund. She said no refund, drive away or she would call the police, i said fine i will call the police for you because a police officer is the only person that will get me to move my vehicle unless you give me a refund. This Church's chicken never has spicy chicken even when they advertise the new spicy Texas chicken. I normally don't come to this location because I live in Baton Rouge; however I was closer to this Church's chicken. I ordered online for the spicy Texas chicken( 3 orders of the two piece special). When I finally got there I made a separate order as well. The young lady at the window had good customer service; however she only gave me one of the 3 specials I ordered,but she quickly resolved it. When I arrived home I noticed I didn't get what I ordered and I would have appreciated it if they would have said they were out of the spicy chicken; however,they gave me what they wanted and not what I ordered!
