Won’t be back. Went to place a to-go order online but decided I wanted to pay in cash when I got there. Called in my order and was given a total that was $0.83 more than it should have been. When I went to pick up my order, I asked why the total was different than it was online and a receipt was printed for me and handed to me which showed me the credit card price (the one I was quoted), the cash price, and a $0.35 to-go charge (fine, but this isn’t charged when you order online). I was given the credit card total instead of the cash total which was specified on the receipt. I let them know I was paying in cash and I was given the credit card total again. I asked if it should be the cash total instead and was then given the cash total. My total was $10.83 and I gave them a $20. I was then given $9 in return.
Very poor management and not a good way to have repeat customers. Charge what you’re supposed to charge and give back the correct amount of change instead of stealing.
It’s not about the little amount of change that I was charged and not given back, it’s the principle of the matter. This isn’t how to do business and they seemed aware of this but...

So it took 15 to 20 minutes to get my food, again, nobody was there. When i got my food it was dry and disgusting , the attitude / vibe i got from all the workers was really bad (i guess they dont like white men or something idk) Took forever to get 1 refill of water. Anyway, so i paid for the meal and as you can see by the pic i posted I was charged 4 percent for using my debit card (who carries cash these days, especially with all the illegals and additional crime these days)of course i didnt tip ! So yea, i hope the owner sees this and looks at the pics i posted and realizes why there restaurant is empty! I will never be back here again even if it was the last place to eat on earth! Yes it...
Read moreMami’s Mexican in Denham Springs is the kind of place where you sit down hungry and leave wondering if you just had the best meal of your week—or your life. The chips are fresh, the salsa’s got just enough kick to make you feel alive, and everything that comes out of the kitchen looks (and smells) like it was made with love and maybe a little bit of magic.
The service? Fast and friendly, like they’ve known you forever—even if it’s your first time. It’s the kind of spot where your drink never hits empty, your plate arrives hot, and someone checks on you just often enough to feel cared for without being chased.
Whether it’s taco Tuesday, fajita Friday, or “I just need queso and peace” day—Mami’s always delivers. Five stars for flavor, hospitality, and that feeling of “I need to come back here...
