Kitchen 16 & Yami — Restaurant in Denham Springs

I stopped by twice tonight. The first time I was picking up a Door Dash order to deliver to a customer. A young lady greeted me and assisted me promptly and made sure the order was in progress. The second time I stopped by to eat, after my Dash ended. The same young lady, I believe her name is Jeym/Jeyn (I asked someone but couldn't hear the person very well, she had already left) but she assisted me again with placing my own order. She provided excellent customer service and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. She made sure all tables had utensils and did a great job doing so. A friendly smile and eagerness to do a job well was noticed and appreciated! I ordered the LSU roll and an egg roll. Man, it was so good! Poor communication . I order a salmon teriyaki hibachi meal. They gave me a salmon teriyaki plate which isn’t even on their menu. I checked my food soon as it was handed to me in the restaurant. I questioned the cashier and she told me that they didnt sell teriyaki salmon hibachi so she gave me salmon teriyaki without even telling me I wasn’t going to get mixed veggies,salad, or drink. She said she did this because this is what customers mean. I’m not most customers. If your business doesn’t do salmon teriyaki hibachi that’s something that should’ve been communicated with me when I ordered . Ordered food for delivery for 4 people- and we were all extremely unhappy. Hibachi veggies and chicken UNDER cooked and bland. We didn’t eat it after first bite. Called and nicely tried to talk to staff and lady was very rude and laughing at me saying over and over “no, our chef very good and we never cook bad food”. So I asked her if she thought I was a liar and she just laughed and kept repeating that they “don’t make bad food”. Sorry, but y’all did this time ! It’s overpriced and nasty.
