Waffle House — Restaurant in Denham Springs

When it opened and for 8 years wasn't a better Waffle House anywhere . I'm a regular customer , not as much as before . People have to learn a kitchen is hot work . On many occasions even reading reviews , foods cold because air near grill is to high . I'm a more than gracious TIPPER when women read just this I'll even tip the good waitress that don't serve me at the time . Chili isn't maintained any more usually cold as well , isn't turned on . Crackers need to be replaced . I recommend each person to throw them out . They replace them back for as long as the box last . Whole box is stale . I used to say give me two eggs over-medium . Now you must say give me two over-medium and make sure the white is done , she will say that's what over-medium means but it never is . I as always will eat there at least once this weekend , and continue to keep trying . Even my wife can't believe how...

I like the service here. I have been to many waffle houses and I am glad this is my closest one. I always get good and pleasant service. Food is always great. Their sausage and biscuits are especially my favorite! Nice, thick white gravy with pieces of sausage. Yum! I dont always need much and I have never been here with a group, so I don't know how they handle all you needy people and groups out there! As a single person (and sometimes 2-3 people), who sits at the bar, I have always had a positive experience, no matter what time a day I'm craving breakfast and coffee. This morning myself, my sister & my brother all ate there and we we saw & received one smile from the entire staff and cooks. They all appeared to be feuding with each other. Then to top it off, a couple came in at least 10 minutes after we ordered and they both got their meal served to them like 10 minutes before our meal was served to us, one dish at a time. Waffles and OJ came before our coffee and water. My sister got her complete order, then myself got part of mine, while finally my brother got his then I got the rest of mine. Our order was breakfast, no substitutions so we had to wait for each other to finish. My worse restaurant experience of any place. No senior discounts either, the youngest of us being 63...
