Subway — Restaurant in Denison

Alrighty so, I haven’t been to subway in years and years. Decided to stop in and get a 6” Philly cheese steak, girl just threw the stuff on and didn’t ask if I wanted it toasted or anything just asked what now, I told her I wanted it toasted with the onions and peppers, shrugged her shoulders and toasted it. Got all my stuff on there, paid. Sat down not even 1 min later. Bread tasted raw, still doughy. Nothing about it was good, no veggie crunch, and just bad.

Now I’ve seen the owner on this establishment say over and over that this is a family owned business almost like it’s copy and paste to every bad comment. Maybe instead of that, rethink the management of your Franchise, it’s not family owned and operated it’s a FRANCHISE that YOUR FAMILY bought. And are running it very poorly.

The store is really clean staff is friendly service is fast . The reason I give them a three is because the last three times I went in store the bread on the sandwich was not fresh so much to the extent on the last time the bread was so hard on the top it was harder than being toasted so the last time I took sandwiches back and got my money back and I understand food cost but here’s a tip if anyone that’s owned this store is paying attention to this review. If you want to use the old bread then when customer approaches counter immediately ask em if it’s toasted and if so use the old bread to toast then they won’t know the difference and serve fresh bread on none toasted sandwiches. The ladies working were nice. The ingredients like the tomato, cucumber, and lettuce were wilted, mushy, and desiccated. I had to search for a spot to sit that wasn't covered in crumbs and dressing smears. The prices are absolutely outrageous. Over $5 extra dollars for a small drink and chips on top of an already expensive sandwich. You have to pay extra for the Happy Gilmore cup, $5 for a drink alone in a plastic cup? The $$$ sodas taste mysterious from the fountain, an amalgamation of them all really. I haven't been to a Subway in 7 years, and it looks like it won't be for another 7.
