Watson's Drive In — Restaurant in Denison

I was visiting Denison to preform a site job and found this little gem that appears to have been around for some time. I asked a few people at the site job I was working at “Where is the Best Place To Eat in Town?” The answer from everyone was, “WatsonBurger!” That is how I ended up here. I must say, they did not disappoint. I ordered five hamburgers for the crew. Special order cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, fries, onion rings and tots. All the food was prepared exactly to order, in a timely manner. The burgers were fresh, meat warm and the veggies crisp. The sides were cooked perfectly without being greasy. The only reason that this wonderful drive in isn't getting my 5th star, is because of the amount of time it took to get me order. If you're in a hurry just to get food, you might reconsider. However.... My wife and I rolled into this drive in and ordered, what I would have to say, the most delicious hamburger meal and chicken basket that either of us have eaten anywhere. Old school hand pressed burger patties and chicken filets that were tender and juicy. The strawberry shake I had was top notch with fresh fruit. I love the food here, but when I checked the reviews out of curiosity I noticed something odd! Another reviewer had the same problem I did! The younger girl who brought food to my car - I handed her a $10 bill for a $5 order and she took the rest of it and kept it as a tip. I was too shocked to say anything, but I was pretty annoyed that she took my $5 without asking. She didn't even say thank you. We assumed she was going to go inside and get change but she never came back out. Pretty rude if you ask me, all she had to do was walk 10 steps to my car with a single paper bag in her hand.
