Stayed at resort Tiki bar is a big no. For one we paid 300dollars a night to stay in a ocean view resort where ocean view ( unless we went on the beach or stayed in our room) was unavailable after 3pm. We had to bring chairs down from our room to sit in the courtyard since all seating was for bar patrons. We were getting looks (not good ones) from the bar staff because we were drinking our own drinks. (We should not have to buy over priced drinks and food to enjoy our resort) People attending the tiki bar were taking seats from our pit and from rooms patios. Bar staff was helping them. How is this allowed. Went into the pool area instead and dealt with people from the bar walking by to use the bathrooms. Wait staff members back and forth with food. No place to sit and enjoy the property once the bar opens. Very sad for what we paid. No microwave in the rooms. We no longer travel with our children but I have to add into this comment it was very sad to see the parents who had children staying with the resort they could not play outside after the tiki bar open because they were getting dirty looks from the patrons that were attending. If you're trying to make this a party Hotel you need to inform people that are booking with you so that they can make a choice if this is what they want because it sure isn't what we want it and we paid a lot of money and left very very...
Read moreDespite the nice atmosphere and good service, the food was really disappointing. Our Cinco Nachos had a “silica” packet in the basket of chips (assume it was from a bulk bag of chips?) and the dips weren’t that appetizing with exception of the queso. The server was nice enough, but instead of comping the $33 nachos he just brought more chips…. The fish and chips were extremely over cooked and also a disappointment. The ceaser salad with shrimp was ok, but the “churro” croutons were soggy and gross. It was a total let down and wayy over priced for the quality. The Drinks were the only positive. I...
Read moreIf you love a good atmosphere with horrible drinks and overpriced food, this is the place for you. Every drink was served in a plastic cup. It disguises itself as a fancy place with the turf, pool, and expensive food/drinks but it isn't simply worth it. If you're from the community, you know it isn't what the area is about. The chips and dip was $33. A simple margarita came watered down without salt and lime. The sangria was mostly water. The wine was certainly past its time. All in all, I think it's a place where uncultured people go to spend money. If you haven't traveled, you will...
