Taqueria Bethel — Restaurant in Denton

As you would expect! A great little taco joint owned by a very friendly Hispanic family. We arrived shortly after 1215p and there was one person in line. I ordered a "Carrasco" which as a Mexican descent I had never heard of. Think of it as a quesadilla without all the cheese. My husband had the taco plate with al pastor and carne on corn tortillas. Both plates come with rice and refried beans and a taquera red chile salsa. Both dishes were spicy (with salsa), authentic, and a quick sit down lunch. I'd say it took at least 10 min for dining in. This is the absolute best taqueria anywhere, including the Denton area, for many reasons. First, Reina and her husband are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. They genuinely seem happier to see me than my own family does! If you don't get the warmest greating when you go there, let me know and I'll personally pay your bill.

Secondly, their food is simply the best that you can get. I'm a foodie that traveled the world for 35 years for my career, and their food is in my top 5 list of favorite places to eat.

Find them and go there, I promise that you will fall in love with the owners...

Very expensive. $8 for just a burrito that's the size of the bean burrito at Taco Bell. I chose not to order after I heard that price but my buddy paid for me because he insisted it was worth the price. When I mentioned that it overpriced the lady got an attitude with me.
