I am giving this a one star! If I could give less I would. The only thing that is even close to okay is the new manager. We arrived about mid evening it took about 5-10 minutes to get our drink order. We were not greeted by our waitress. Once we were asked for our drink order it was by someone else. We had told her we were ready to order, but she said she would take our drink order and find our waitress. About another 10-15 minutes goes by and then our waitress shows up. She does not say anything about sorry for your wait no previous acknowledgements that she would be right with us. Nothing. Finally we ordered our food. Well it took longer than expected considering it was not busy. Our food finally arrived and it was completely wrong! So our food gets taken back and the manager comes over to figure out what we had ordered. Apologized for the confusion. Wrote our order down. About 10 minutes later we get it. It still was not all that. My husbands sandwich had peppers on it after he requested for it not to have any. Now granted this is a bar type of restaurant the sandwiches were greasy. Last time I checked philly cheese steaks did not have grease running out the bottoms of them. After all of that the waitress completely blew us off. She stood in the front of the restaurant facing us of all things with her arms crossed. My drink went empty which it should never have happened. My husbands seem to have stayed full half the time. He drank more than me but still @ least check up on your customers. You did sign up to be a waitress which means waiting on someone. I have had my fair share of waitressing and bartendering in college, but this was plain ridiculous. The manager did apologize for everything she is new on board trying to turn the place around, but right now they need bar restaurant rescue! Don’t waste your time or your money. There are a couple of young ladies in there that care, but then there a couple that should try find a...
Read moreI've been going to Hooters for close to 30 years -from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, to Dallas and Denver, and all points in between. I've had 1,000's of wings and hundreds of burgers and an untold number of cold drinks. And I have had the honor of being waited on and served by many beautiful Hooters Ladies. But of all the times my shadow has crossed a Hooters door jam, I have never had service like I did here. Loren is a stunning, blond young Lady whose customer service is absolutely off the hook when it comes to Hooters' usual good service. With a ready and contagious smile, she'll attentively look you in the eye as she takes your order (which is rare these days). Always fast with a refill or just a quick, "Is everything alright?", and always with that amazing Hollywood smile, she makes you feel like YOU are her whole world, even when she is juggling a bunch of tables. One little thing that made a HUGE impression: after our food was served, and even though this was a busy Saturday afternoon, she quickly turned to an empty table, tore off two paper towels, folded them neatly in half, and placed one next to my friend's plate and the other next to mine. I already had a paper towel on my lap getting ready for my fish and chips, but in almost 30 years I've never had that happen at a Hooters. Just that little gesture, and that megawatt smile, made me feel like a million dollars and change. Loren's Hooters is 28.5 miles from my apartment, and there's one about 2.5 miles away in Addison, but doggone it, ANY time I have a hankering for Hooters, I'm only going to see Loren in Denton. Last thing: Hooters? Loren should have at least eight months of the next...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing Experience
Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing experience we’ve had at any Hooters location. The level of service from beginning to end fell far below expectations.
We arrived at 8:30 PM and were initially greeted by our waitress, who took our drink order as we waited for the rest of our party. Once everyone had arrived, we ordered a second round of drinks and placed our food order.
After waiting nearly 40 minutes with no updates, I asked the waitress about our food, and was told, “It’s almost out.” By this point, it was 9:40 PM—well beyond a reasonable wait time. My husband approached the manager for assistance, but was met with a dismissive and condescending response. The manager claimed our order had just been rung in at 9:30 PM, which appeared to be an attempt to shift blame and suggest that we had ordered late.
This was particularly frustrating given the restaurant was not busy—there were only about seven other guests, all of whom were served well before us. It became apparent that the issue was likely due to our waitress failing to submit our order. Instead, she was seen socializing with a male guest at a nearby table rather than attending to her responsibilities.
We shared our concerns with the manager, canceled our food order, paid for our drinks, and left. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service was deeply disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to...
