I've now tried this spot twice and both experiences have been great! It's super convenient to my work, which makes it an easy go-to for breakfast or lunch. The first time, I ordered the chicken salad with grilled chicken to go—everything was fresh, flavorful, and packaged well. This time, I dined in and had the waffle combo. The portions are generous for the price, and the waffle was cooked just right. The only downside is that they serve a vegetable oil blend instead of real butter, but it’s a small thing and didn’t take away from the overall meal. (As you can tell I love butter.) Service was good both times—friendly and efficient whether ordering to go or dining in. Overall, great food, solid value, and dependable service. I’ll definitely be back!

My first time here at Alameda Cafe was very good! It gave me the vibe of Santiago’s but with a little more sparkle. The hostess sat us down quickly and gave us time to look at the menu. We got our drinks quickly and were offered refills promptly throughout our meal. I ordered a smothered beef and bean burrito (with the works) and I was very pleased with the presentation and the flavor! I also ordered a waffle, which if you have a sweet tooth like me, I highly recommend! Overall the service and quality of the food was excellent, and the prices were absolutely reasonable and affordable for a breakfast/brunch get together. My meal was $20 at most. Definitely come here if you’re looking for a delicious, authentic Mexican breakfast/brunch. 🌯

I was already looking forward to trying this restaurant just based off of the reviews, then I learned that a long time favorite employee at my previous go to spot, is the new owner of this establishment! I’m so beyond proud of her! The food was delicious and service was exceptional. 10/10 recommend!

As you walk in all the tables are right there, so literally everyone walking in gets stared at as though you are a monster. Then right away assumptions of you speaking Spanish, not every Latino or Hispanic person speaks Spanish, so also very uncomfortable.

I’ll comment on food as soon as I eat it, as I ordered to go.

Very loud atmosphere, Mexican music playing extremely loud, everyone has to yell it seems. And very tight, I’ll give it that it is a small space but the POS is right next to the bar and if one wants to sit at the bar to be away from others, they have to battle staff coming to bar, to the POS and definitely does not help the owner sitting at the bar doing whatever it is, there should be an office or this should be done at home, it’s as though he’s watching everyone like a hawk watching prey, VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!

Overall not horrible but uncomfortable, not lets see how...
