This place is dispisicable. I call and order a simple Hawaiian pizza, from a young man I can only assume was high based on his slow and disgruntled tone. I'm told it will be a 35-45min wait. No problem, that's standard delivery time for a pizza... although, I am only 3 blocks from this location. I wait for an hour and seven minutes, before I decide to call and check on things. When I get through, and ask the young lady what the status was for my pizza, I'm told that it will be an additional hours wait for my pizza, due to a snow storm that was in its beginning stages. Knowing that I had absolutely no intention of waiting such a long ADDITIONAL period of time, and being able to hear the imaturity in the young lady's voice, I ask to speak to the manager. In wait for the manager to get on the line, I can hear the back ground, as the phone was simple put down instead of being put on hold. I can hear the manager searching for excuses as she makes her way to the phone, asking "ugh, was it a online order?" Then she gets on the line. Without letting me get a word in edge wise, she begins to tell me how wait times have been extended due to the weather, and a high volume of calls. She tells me wait times for delivery are at an hour and a half, and that even carry out had a wait time of thirty or so minutes. Remember, at this point I had put my order in and hour and thirteen minutes prior, and that I'm only 3 blocks from the location. I tell her simply, that I understood completely the situation, but at this point I did not wish to wait any longer for a pizza that should have came in 35-45min. She then proceeds to begin to argue with me regarding the circumstances of why I the wait was so long. This went on and on; Her explaining that this is why, or that caused this. Even going as far as to mock me, mimicking my verbiage assumed tone. Me, demanding a refund; until she just hung up on me. First of all, I, a paying customer that made a conscience choice to give patronage to this business, will not be disrespected by any representive of this business, least of all a member of management, that's supposed to be a PROFESSIONAL leader within the organization. Second of all, I in no way intended to pay for that lack of customer appreciation, or the pizza that never showed up. I call back and demand a refund, and a delivered receipt that reflected that such action took place. I informed her that I would be contacting their corporate customer service line about my experience, to which she replied loftily "That's fine honey (mockingly), my name is Victoria Mendenhall, and I'm putting you down as a rude customer" That last part was no bother to me, as I'd rather have a tonio's pizza before returning to this location. At 10:01 pm, while typing this review, Dominoes delivered my pizza. I originally placed my order at 8:08 pm.
To Victoria: You seriously have no business in a managerial role, and it would be totally appropriate for you to be demoted while undergoing some serious retraining. However, this is not a perfect world, and I doubt that will be the case. So, should you find yourself again with a disgruntled customer (if your attitude doesn't change, I'm sure you will) try to approach the situation with a more emphatic term. Read moreI always order from the app, so I can't speak much on their customer service. Usually when the delivery person comes up to the door they have arrived very quickly and they are polite. Early in October, I had just put up my Halloween decorations (which were not scary, with the exception of a flickering red light on our porch). Our porch window is our living room window as well, which the curtains were open and me and my roomates were in the living room watching TV. The app told me the pizza delivery person had left the store so I expected him to be at my door in the next five minutes, since I live so close. Ten minutes passed and I considered calling, but I kept my cool. 20 minutes passed and so I went outside to check to see if he was lost or wandering around the street. The delivery man had been standing in my walkway for God knows how long with my pizza. He acted like I was the antichrist when I came out and winced in fear. He set my pizzas on the path and set the receipt on the boxes and backed up. It was dark because of how far away he was from the porch so I had to go in and get a light, come back, sign and I went to hand it to him and he asked me to set it on the ground. I did and took my pizza. That was RIDICULOUS! At least I have a funny story to tell but I sincerely hope he never delivers me another pizza! Ordered online for carry out to reduce wait time to enjoy my dinner, online stated 17-22min till my order would be completed- living 10min away I waited 15 in and drove over. When I arrived the lobby was filled with waiting customers, many distrot about the lack of customer service and lengthy wait time. I noticed my order on the wait screen was not even started, in fact the wait time started to INCREASE. After listening to the angry murrmering in the lobby I walked out and waited in my car for 30min. I watched while driver after delivery driver shot in and out while non of the waiting customers were waited on or helped ease the wait time anger.I waited long enough, walked back in, status screen my order was ready now, and I stood at the order window for additional 10min while all employees made it a point not to make eye contact with anyone in the lobby, until one, as I can only describe as bob Marley's over medicated nephew, slowly trecked from the back and asked how he could help me. Bob's nephew turned and grabbed my order, which had been there the entire time I had been standing there to be waited on. Before I paid I opened my order to find nice, fully prepared pizzas. The pizza was good, but the customer service was severly sub par- not worth the headache to use this...
