Fat Shack — Restaurant in Denver

So, the only reason I am leaving 1 star is for the fact I can't leave 0!! My husband and I after all day working and not eating, stopped here. We got the 24 wings 1/2 BBQ, 1/2 Sweet Heat BBQ, then added 6 Garlic Parm wings & Cheesesticks. Line here was long AF to start with, but it was a Saturday night, around midnight, and is one of the only places open super late, so..TO BE A EXPECTED! We waited about 35 minutes for our food, which was told to us by the guy when we placed the order, so...OK! We get home and let's just say...BLAND, TASTELESS WINGS! They all look the same, and taste the same. Idk if they need to just change the oil or what, but wings are dry and overcooked and the BBQ, Sweet Heat BBQ and Parmesan all taste exactly the same! Kinda scared me...thought I had COVID! Did a AT HOME COVID CHECK and tried the cheesesticks, and the those were pretty good. Only thing good actually! If not been for the fact we were starving, and we're out late, would have returned it for a full refund. This is drunk people with COVID, food. Cuz that's the only time this would be considered "delicious". Never again. $47 after tax &35 wasted minutes to taste horrible wings that did not satisfy my mouth at all. All the raving reviews concerns me, and also confirms that people in Colorado..have no clue what...

@Fat_Shack The famous iconic Fat Sandwich was such a dissapointment. The Fat Wondergem was what I had delivered.

The sandwich was dry and flavorless. It was crammed with so many fries it was just a fry sandwich with hints of other flavors. I didn't even see, taste or notice mozzarella sticks. I saw an onion ring and tasted it in a bite or two. The onion rings (Plural? Maybe there was more than one) were so thinly and tasteless. The golden honey BBQ sauce was good but it was so scarce it hardly made a difference. Maybe the chicken fingers were dipped in it. I cannot stress how flavorless the sandwich was. And dry. I had to take a chaser after each bite to get it down. Glad I didn't choke. I could have used a gaggle of golden honey BBQ sauce on the side to dip the sandwich in.

I ordered a small fry as well but didn't eat the fries because there were so many fries in my "Fat Fry Sandwich" that I was just turned off by the fry overload. They were not even that tasty good of fries.

The vanilla milkshake was too expensive and basically cold milk with a hint of vanilla.

The novelty of this place may be popular but I will never patronize it again. It is near a college so the deep fried goodness is probably good for the late night college crowd.

Had the most horrific experience here. My wife wanted to find a place that did deep fried Oreos and after hunting around this seemed like the place to go. Right when we came in we felt a werid vibe but didn't pay much attention to it. Our plan after seeing the menu was to order a round of snacks then order our food eat both there then go and order another set to take back to our rental place to enjoy. Instead we ordered were told it would take one to two mins to be ready we wait a few mins to order our food so we would have time to enjoy the snack, when the food is ordered we are told the fountain drink machine is out of order, I go along with it because I feel there is no reason for them to lie. We sit down to wait for our snack that still somehow hasn't come out, my wife points out that other people in the restaurant have fountain drinks trying to give the business the benefit of the doubt I tell her that maybe it just went down. A few mins go buy and someone gets up and refills their drink in the fountain so that gets a little suspect.
