In a word...Delicious. Every dish was great and full of flavor. The long broth preparation process, the ingredient quality, and the excellent customer service all came together to make this a great experience. Best ramen I have had in a long time. I just wish I lived closer. 😂 Corner ramen is a must stop if you are in the area! Edit 1: Sadly many ramen places resort to instant broth powder, so I love that they actually make their own bone broth. The pork for their charsiu is sourced from a Japanese company and is amazing. The hot spring eggs are like eating pudding. Seriously good eats and I haven't even mentioned the poke bowls yet. Do yourself a favor and stop by. Edit 2: Its been a while, and now I live in Denver. I have tried several other ramen shops in Downtown Denver and it really is no comparison. Corner Ramen beats every other shop around on food quality. Seriously, broth, noodles, meat, eggs...Corner Ramen is superior all around. A second thing I wanted to mention is how well it stands up with delivery. A big worry on noodles is getting soggy. They package the broth separately so the noodles don't get soggy. Also, the type of noodle is special and has a better mouth feel when combined later. I got delivery at another upscale ramen shop and the noodles weren't even close. I do recommend heating and stirring the broth before combining with the noodles though, because they add salt before delivery rather than during the cooking to better control the salt content. This can lead to the salt not mixing evenly in your bowl. So basically...delivery approved! Still a 5-star!

By take down notes, you mean as an owner no longer take my order because you can't make one shrimp tempura right? And yell at your wife for my extra sauce while I'm standing there? Just learned the last time I ordered. It was the Owner who was unhappy about My order, extra sauce on the side. Where he proceeded to complain to his Wife in a very angry tone in front of me about my order. Over sauce! And then proceed to slam the extra sauce into my bag. Oh what an experience it is to watch the family dynamic in a restaurant. I hope they can resolve those situations. The food was correct this time. From what happened last time, all new employees should know the ingredients of the menu. Even the person answering the phone. I learned why my order had pineapple in it from previous orders. Seems they had allowed a new employee to make the order. I completely understand training and making mistakes. I hope they never make a mistake with someone who has an allergy. Allergy’s are deadly. I asked for sauce on the side and thankfully you didn’t put pineapples in this one. I didn’t order a drink or anything extra since I was afraid something would go wrong.

I ordered tonkotsu ramen through uber eats from this place. I added $5.50 for sukiyaki beef. What came with it is fried thinly slice beef(only 5-6 pieces for $5.50), while sukiyaki is basically thinly sliced boiled beef. Chasu is a such a scam too, they just used cheap frozed pork belly, and fried it also(very tough to chew), while chasu also had to be cook in different way to make the meat very tender. Even the noodle is terrible, it just cuts easily and hardy like they used pre-made. My wife didn't even eat half of her poke bowl. Her complain was just the amount of fish compare to the places that she used to go. They are cheap on their ingredients and far from where they put a lot of efforts to actually bring the joys for customer. In case, the owner says that we didn't get any order from Troy James (my internet fake name), I also uploaded actual Uber eats photo.

Where do I start? I was very excited to have a ramen spot in our neighborhood. With the recent trend of new ramen shops sprouting up all over the city we hoped it would offer at a minimum similar quality as the price would suggest. We called ahead to order a Shoyu and a Tonkatsu. I gave my name and the two guys working the register neither could find the order on their tiny notepad so they asked me what I ordered. Well I was told it wasn't ready. Fine, but it would have been nice to pay so I could just leave when it was ready but instead immediately started helping another guy. Coincidentally, they had to ask what he ordered too. No problem, new places have to work out the kinks. No ambiance or decor to speak of. Alright all of that can be improved. Both ramens were only marginally better than freeze dried Maruchan (give me store bought Nong Shim any day over either of these). Soup was uninspired and lacked any real defining flavor. All the sesame oil and togarashi couldn't save these. The trend of expensive ramen while being a simple comfort food is fine so long as you have the broth and noodles to back it up. The noodles were gross and starchy. I've never once seen my wife not finish a ramen. We won't...

I had a very important meeting with a family member today who arrived earlier than myself. We really looked forward to trying a new Ramen spot in the area while catching up over a hot meal. However, the experience will remain unforgettable. He ordered a drink while patiently waiting for me to arrive. Sadly, I received another call from my family before my arrival to notify me of an incident with the owner. Judging from the reviews, this is not the owners first time getting aggressive with customers. Especially over a petty matter.

After approaching my family, he aggressively asked how long he would be there. Mind you, no one else was in the store other than employees. Instead of actual service where one would ask, "Can I get you anything else?". My family then decided to leave with his belongings, where then the owner decided to kick my family in the back, causing him to drop his belongings and groceries. The owner then made matters worse by damaging the groceries we just paid for. Escalating the matter even worse, he threatened to use deadly force. Thankfully, the police arrived to sort the matter out. As far as I'm concerned, Corner Ramen will remain a health risk on many levels to myself...
