My previous visits to this establishment were Ok (we order take out). Food is satisfactory and we keep ordering from here. It is one of 2 places that offer Pho in this area, and I just keep coming because it is conveniently located. This last visit, my order took an extremely long time (I did it over the phone ahead of time and they said it would take 15 mins) I got there promptly and took 20 more minutes. When it came out, they gave me the wrong order. I didn't noticed until I got home and when I got back they realized that it was someone else's order. It took 20 more minutes to get my order as a fellow patron was also getting impatient about his order. It took a total of one hour to get my food and by the time I got home, everybody was ready to go to bed. They did not even offer me water while I waited. Food is decent but not worth wait one hour to get it, in that case I would have driven 10 more mins and go to Pho Denver on Iliff or any other Pho place in Aurora. I really hope they improve on their kitchen timing because the inside of the restaurant looks great, the remodel makes it look clean and spacious. For my part, I will take a break from Pho Bom and will not revisit any time in the...
Read moreLet me start by saying I eat at many Pho places and what's amazing is that each is slightly different, seasonings, spices, cook style etc. I went here based on Google reviews, and it was good, but not my favorite.
I had the passion fruit boba, which you can never go wrong with. Was perfect. I had the combo noodle bowl. The egg rolls were not as flavorful as I'm used to. The beef/chicken was dried out, which was strange since the shrimp was cooked perfectly! The spice/seasoning was somewhat bland in comparison to what I've had, and the fish sauce for the bowl was bland, too. This might just be done because the audience around this location prefers it. Personally, I wanted bold marinated meats and sauce that tasted like fish oil! It was good. I'd go back. it just wasn't what I'm used to. Felt the combo bowl was well priced for the size, but not the quality of the...
Read moreI feel as if I love pho more than the average person which is why I try as many pho places as I can. Pho Bom ranks high on my list here in Denver. The broth is delicious and they have different options proteins you can get and if that is not your thing, they also have a vegetarian option. I also feel that this place gives you more meat than other pho restaurants. They have additional food options if pho is not your thing. The restaurant is clean and the staff is courteous. The only reason I gave 4* rather than 5 was because they only have 2 pho bowl sizes. Small and large. So if you are not super hungry but you still want a bit more than a small then you hare kind of stuck choosing whether to be wasteful and order the large or risk still being hungry by ordering the small. Overall though, I would recommend this places over other pho places...
