Changing my review. I'm a local to this neighborhood and I'm sad to report that this location has recently gone downhill. Especially during the evening hours. It has been increasingly difficult to place an order through the app or over the phone. Two nights in a row my order was canceled and my hut points used to purchase a pizza were not returned. Manager Shanae offered a $40 credit for the inconvenience of having to cancel my order due to a lack of delivery drivers, but when I tried to call the store a couple weeks later to use my credit no one would answer the phone. I instead placed an order through the app and paid with my own money since I couldn't reach the store by phone therefore saving my credit for a later date. A couple weeks go by and I call to use my credit. A disgruntled employee finally answered and informed me that my store credit was not there and that I had used it on my previous order which was not true. I ordered online through the app and had no way to use that credit without calling the store. I was rudely told by that employee that if I kept trying to abuse the credit system that I would not be receiving anymore food. I had never even been able to use my $40 credit and I have no way to know if the manager even took my information down or perhaps she just misled me with false credits to get me off the phone after canceling my order that evening. After speaking to the manager again she offered to comp what I had paid for my most recent order. I had a feeling I was being misled once again but accepted the comp. Unfortunately, I was correct. Manager Shanae didn't comp my meal as she said she would and my bank statement reflects that yet again. I'm not sure what is going on with management, delivery or customer service at this location, but the other employee was extremely rude as well and hung up on me when I was trying to give him a gate code for the delivery. That was my final strike with this particular location and I will not be ordering from there again. I've lived in the neighborhood for 35 years and have ordered from this location since it's grand opening; it's a shame to see this location go downhill with food and customer service. The only positive to this location is the delivery driver that regularly makes deliveries. She is prompt and kind. There are a few other delivery drivers that have been wonderful in the past, but this location must not be treating their drivers well enough that they never manage to retain delivery drivers. Read moreI ordered a recipe of BBQ pizza that Pizza Hut has been making since the 90's, possibly before. I have found that there are no locations in Denver that make this original recipe. I called this location and it got my hopes up when I spoke to the lady on the phone as it seemed like they had a good idea as to what I was looking for. Unfortunately, upon my arrival and verification of the pizza, I soon realized that was not the case. They basically had provided me with a cheese pizza that had bbq sauce. The employee who helped me was Larry. Once Larry realized I was not satisfied with the pizza presented, he asked what it was I was looking for. I told him the original BBQ pizza had chunks of BBQ meat throughout the pizza that had massive BBQ flavor in the meat itself. Once explaining this to him, he soon realized they did not have the specific ingredients I was looking for. Larry decided that he was going to take matters into his own hands and try his very best to provide me with something close to my request. He took beef and seasoned it with the BBQ sauce they had. Although the pizza he made was not the original recipe I was looking for, it was good enough and his efforts showed that he went over and beyond to make me happy. I can honestly say that it has been a LONG TIME since any corporate chain has displayed this level of customer service. I never write reviews but this was definitely warranted. Read moreHonestly the food is just fine at this location but they have some weird employees. There's a sign on the front counter that says that if they don't show me my pizza before I pay then the pizza is free, therefore I waited for them to show me my pizza. I asked to see it before I paid for it without bringing up the sign, but not one but two employees bullied me into paying for my pizza before I even saw it. And when I say bully I mean they yelled at me saying that I had to pay for my pizza. In normal circumstances, where the sign wasn't there, they would show me my pizza before I pay, so the sign is there therefore they change the rules? I told them I like to see my product before purchasing in case there are any mistakes and they got mad at me for even saying that. A third employee walked up and asked me what was wrong and I told him that they're trying to get me to pay for my food before I even see it, so how do I know it's correct? So he tried telling the ladies to let me look before paying but they bullied him as well.
The food there is always fine and there's never any issues but I found it weird that just because there is a promotion they suddenly changed the rules and not let me see my product prior to purchase. I frequent this location at least once a month and the woman running the place has always been very kind so I hope she was just in a bad mood but don't take it out on me for being able to read the promotion right in front of me.
