Taqueria El Gallito — Restaurant in Denver

We never had a problem until now! We have eaten tacos to eat there & there really good no lie even if there a bit expensive but this time my husband went to get me carne asada fries along with other two items more & when he got home with my food I realized my carne asada fries didn’t have enough fries & meat like it was empty & I got really upset because my husband told me someone recommended him the carne asada fries from there & despite that they gave me a bit of fries & meat it tasted salty. It’s a rip off since the carne asada fries costed 18 dollars with some cents all for me to get salty & sauce because like I said they didn’t put enough fries & meat !!! If you want people to have business with you stop being stingy with the food because it’s not fair especially if it’s for take out! We should get for what we paid for plus 18 dollars for carne asada fries is a bit to much as well! I do expect a refund tbh no lie because I didn’t expect to get less food...

So... We tried to go local and this is local Latin/Mexican fare.I liked what I ordered but others in our party that either weren't well versed or were timid were not fans of theirs. The ham and hot dogs on the burger threw my kids off, but we just set them aside (I ate them). My tacos were good. They have a good variety. Cane sugar Cokes are nice. The format has changed completely from when we came here a couple of years ago. It's no longer like a sit down, wait service restaurant. It's more like counter order. I enjoy the food more now. They seem attentive to keep it clean, but it still feels like cafeteria style. Some may not be into that. I like the veggies bar. Good way to load up and in a healthy way (cucumber, radishes, pickled veggies and jalapeno , and 3 sauces... Green, red, and crema lime/cilantro) good stuff. This "chain" has several locations around town. I don't know if they're independently owned or not. I have been to this location three times. They've tried to rip me off three times. (Maybe white people get charged differently)? There are no prices listed on the large overhead sign boards (even though they have enough room for very large product photos), so in my cases, they've made up a different price each time I go in. Very convenient, ha? On my last visit, the girl at the counter said the total was $19.00, even, for six small tacos. When pressed for an individual price on each taco, she stated "$2.75". With tax, the computer screen showed "$17.87". How is that $19 00 other than an attempt to cheat a customer? The food is OK, but I'll never buy ANYTHING here again. They are...
