I’ve been coming here for about five years, and honestly it’s very hit or miss. I feel like they discriminate based on appearance. I’m curvier, and my daughter is super thin and fit. When we order together, she always gets way more food than I do. She can ask for half rice and half noodles with no problem, but when I ask, they tell me I can’t. The service is inconsistent, and the portion sizes vary a lot. Sometimes you get a nice full scoop, other times it’s barely anything.

The pricing also doesn’t make sense. Some visits, I’ll bring my son and daughter, we each order the same meals we always get, and the total is around $25–$30. Other times, for the exact same order, it’s nearly $50–$60. We never change what we order, but the price is all over the place. Some days the experience is good, but other days it’s bad. It just...

$1.35 per scoop? how is that expensive? there's like 15 choices they keep warm kinda like a panda express and when they give you a "scoop" its like 3 or 4 scoops. i usually go in late when they're slow and i've noticed they don't keep all the trays full at all times, but they'll make a fresh new tray of anything you want if you're willing to wait 5 minutes. the daughter the other reviewers talk about has been in there like 50% of the times i've gone in. and once she was even with the delivery guy and handed me the food. im pretty sure they're just trying to teach her the family business. if you order off their menu, it can cost a lot. when i go in for the scoops, i spend about $9 for two people. when i order for delivery tho, we order the $6 and $9 full orders and usually spend about $40 for two people and have plenty...

King Wok Express Chinese food in Lakewood, is absolutely one of the best Chinese places my family and I have eaten at since we moved to Colorado roughly five months ago. Not only is the staff friendly and patient, but they help guide you a little bit if need be when you arrive, the place is absolutely spotless, I had no fear when I saw their dishes laid out in such a cleanly kept cafeteria style tray setup, that I would be getting sick from the food like I have been afraid of with other places. This place has even better tasting food than other Express Chinese places out there, even Panda Express.
