Never bothering with this McDonald's or any other McDonald's in my area again. I place and order on the app for delivery, a simple order of cookies, pies, and drinks totaling 6 items. Placed the order and not even a second after it says it's accepted the order gets cancelled on the spot with no visible reason as to why, call door dash to find out why, they tell me it can't be fulfilled and no specific reason can be provided. That's not satisfactory in this situation, I'm normally one to keep my cool and stay collected when reviewing, but considering my current circumstances and how this as screwed me, I'm not so inclined to be at peace anymore.
They didn't even give it a chance to be fulfilled, it was cancelled literally as soon as I placed the order, so no valid reason and on top of that I ordered from there because I'm short on cash due to rising prices and wanted a cheap snack and drinks, THEY CHARGED MY ACCOUNT DESPITE IT NOT EVEN GETTING A PROPER CHANCE TO GO THROUGH!!! I HAVE TO WAIT 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS FOR IT TO GO BACK IN!!! So not only was I snubbed, I am left unable to order anything else because my money's gone for no reason until middle of next week...well... I have my assumptions as to the reason based off of some of the employees I've encountered there. Lazy workers who want more money for trash service, can't even handle a simple order but they want more money? Lol, ok.
Needless to say, I've deleted my account on the app as well as the app itself, and if anyone wants a 100% pleasant McDonald's experience, go to the one in Terryville, CT. Avoid this McDonald's unless you enjoy getting garbage service from garbage employees.
I'll support higher pay when you actually do your jobs the right way instead of trying to be a body collecting a paycheck providing little to no satisfactory service. Don't like the job enough to actually do it the right way or you just don't wanna deal with customers, then get a different job and let someone who actually will do the job right have the spot.
The only good thing out of this McDonald's is the cookies, but good luck trying to order them through anything but the actual restaurant itself, and DO expect to be given dirty looks the entire time!

Read moreI've been coming to this McDonald's almost every weekend on Saturdays for breakfast and everytime I come I get a different story for the breakfast sandwhich deals.... They run a 2 for $4 dollar breakfast sandwhich promotion. But when I try to get the deal with a bacon and biscuit with cheese without the bacon the girls refuse to give me the deal stating that the deal only includes the sandwhich with bacon.... Then proceeds to charge me full price for both sandwiches I ordered.... Then the next weekend I Come, the girl ringing me out this time informs me that the order I just made is included with the promotion and rings me out accordingly, I ask her about why I didn't get it last time it must've been the girl checking me out didn't know how to ring me out... Fast forward to today I get that same bs that my order doesn't get the promotion.... Now I'm aggrevated, I'm fine with paying the extra dollar if it's not Included at the promotion but at this point I feel I'm being targeted to not receive the promotion....please be more consistent in teaching your employees about your own promotions.
*update 5 years later(12/4/2024) this McDonalds is still lacking, I don't know why I didn't learn my lesson. I made an order on the app at 10:13am was charged on my visa through the app. I arrive at the mcdonalds at 10:38 and am told that they no longer serve breakfast at this hour and my order will not be honored, nor will i be given a refund on the spot and to wait for it on the app and if the refund doesn't come through to come back tomorrow to get this order honored. I check on the the website for mcdonalds app refund policy and the remedy for refund on the app is to go through the restaurant the order is place, some help this store is. Read moreI dine in last night but I was shocked and alarmed to see how the food was handled. The young female latin teenager part of the crew members grabbed the chicken nuggets from the dispenser tray with her hand and place in the box container for serving. For the next order with the same hand and same disposable gloves grabbed the chicken patties to prepare a chicken sandwich wrapped and served it. She then turned around and hand played with her team member laughing speaking in the Spanish language with another young latin male teenager. They hand shake and continued with hand tapping with signs and then turned around again, but this time she grabbed the fish patties from the dispenser tray with the same hand without changing her disposable gloves and prepared wrapped and served that order. When I saw the young male teenager rubbing the slices of bread on her face and continue with the hand playing I asked if the bread buns slices that they were playing with was for my Big Mac combo order. I ask the cashier Who was the server to please call the manager on shift. I asked the manager Why the young crew members were serving the meat without the proper use of the untensils that were provided and they were visible. While talking to the supervisor on shift the young lady grabbed another hand full of nuggets with her hand and at this point the supervisor saw it with his own eyes and called her attention.
