First off i would like to say i agree with a lot of people on here as this place being a total rip off, but what other Jeep dealer can you go to in good ole Newport VT area. Had a security issue with my Jeep and would not turn over or even attempt to. Brought to Rays Auto and they suggested it had to be fixed by a dealer so here we go. Brought to good ole North Point and got great news, "needs a new PCM installed". OK lets do it. After I've just spent $3500 at Bernie's to find out an air intake issue costs me $3500 I have to spend another $940 on a PCM. New PCM was installed and no sooner i leave North Point in Derby i get a nice man to stop me and tell me i have no brake lights. Also dash gauges didn't work and over drive (OD) light on dash comes on and goes off each time i step onto the brake pedal. I return to have it looked at the next morning. Doug states he has a PCM from a totaled Jeep from outback at his house and will bring it in to try it out in mine to see if the issues were fixed. Return the next day to have used PCM installed and seemed to fix all but brake lights working. Was told that they would order a new PCM from a different supplier and call me when it came in. A month goes by and no word from anyone, I call back to ask whats going on because i'm not paying $940 for a PCM the mechanic felt he needed to stick into his closet at home and sell me for the price of a new one and this is the reply I get. We will call and check on the delivery of the PCM for you and give you a call back. I received a call back a few hours later and was told it would be shipped that day. Seems to me i was played for a SUCKER by this company seems they tried to sell me a USED PCM and never was going to order my new one. So 2 days later i was thrown in jail because of my brake lights not working and an unruly man trying to say i tried to run him over as i was backing up, this because my brake lights were not working as they always always always have in the past. I spent 2 months in there until i came up with $70,000 bail to get out and now just as of yesterday i had to bite the bullet finally after 8 months of dealing with crappy service and now come to find out the guy that was the service manager and knew everything about what had happened is no longer employed there. I talked to this new Pat guy and he was very rude to the point he told me that i was going to get my PCM installed and that was it or i was going to just take my PCM to someone else and have them install it if I thought they were going to trouble shoot any issues i had before he had been hired. He did hang up on me. Now if that isn't rude i don't know what is. So i called and spoke to the General manager of the store and did all my dealings with him which i'm sure he knows nothing of mechanics at all. Either way i had to bite the bullet and either go without a PCM installed that i had already paid for and go get my PCM and bring it elsewhere or i had to let these guys install it and let them tell me that my brake lights not working isn't their fault. Of course a new service manager wouldn't know this anyway but who's to say a customer who already paid $940 is going to be right? The company i work for has a leased Dodge pickup from these guys that is definitely going back in Nov and my boss just purchased a new 2017 Jeep from here. I would not recommend anyone to go here unless you want to be bent over backwards and stiffed without lube. If i could i would rate this company a 0 star for good service and a 5 star for ripping people off. I plan to right a review anywhere i possibly can because now that sales people, service people and managers change so often i need to fork out another chunk of money to fix my wonderful problem that North point caused because of hack work and shady business men working there that are afraid to be honest and take blame for anything done wrong. Maybe they will be like the hundreds of others that have worked there in the past years and have to find a different job if they admitted they messed something up. DO NOT BRING...

My 1st Review 6 months ago (April 2024) — I haven’t had much great experiences with dealerships in the past including this one but I want to leave a solid honest review.
I walked in and had been greeted by Chris Royer, Brian Dagesse, Heather Kennison, Jenna Pingree & Ashley Royea. All great at what they do and it shows.
I had been eyeballing a Black on Black Ram 1500 Limited Crew Cab for over a month- I mean checked on the website daily even hourly, made multiple appointments for test drives, staying in the loop about the truck, other test drives people were having with it. Emailed, messaged and called multiple times a week about my savings, selling half my possessions I no longer use, doing everything I can having no co-signer, and a descent payment plan.
Everyone I dealt with- Chris, Brian, Heather, Jenna & Ashley were so kind, went above and beyond keeping me informed and what I wanted exactly. Didnt try to put me in something I didn’t want they knew exactly what I wanted and stuck with it into making it happen.
They were the best sales team getting me into my dream truck. Black on black, crew cab, practical and tasteful. I call it Boujee on a Budget!
Again; thank you Northpoint! The team I dealt with- Chris Royer, Brian Dagesse, Heather Kennison, Jenna Pingree and Ashley Royea. You ALLL contributed with your knowledge, help, did the extra and proved it.
I will recommend anyone else in future to do business with you folks specifically.
My Review TODAY (November 2024) — I bought my Ram 1500 Limited 6 months ago and I had a great experience in the buying process with Heather Kennison, Chris Royer, Jenna Pingree & everyone that helped make it happen for me.
My truck needed some warranty work done (CV Shaft, Front Differential, Oil Pan) so I brought it up this week (Monday night) for the work to be done. We had a little hiccup in the process with parts and the quality of the work. I always heard nightmares about the Service Department but I realize every vehicle is different, every customer is different and every experience is different so I don’t let other people’s stories cloud my judgement. I brought it in again the next day after having complaints, they fixed the hiccup and made it right by going above & beyond by cleaning up my truck for me afterwards. Shayne Berube & Cody Hodge in the Service Department turned around what could have turned into a nightmare into a positive & great experience. They are very skillful, respectful & hard working guys hands down. I contacted both the gentlemen at odd hours of the night 8-10pm with complaints and they were BOTH very mindful, very respectful. They took a negative situation and turned it around to make it great again. I got a rental while they fixed my truck so Inwasnt left stranded.
I will definitely continue to doing business with these folks.
Thank you everyone at...
Read moreMy experience first began around AUG '20 with Heather Kennison about a 2020 tricked out Rubicon; but Brian Dagesse picked up the ball from there. Since my "NEK Relocation Plans" were still very fluid after my mother's death; we didn't reconnect until after I "temporarily" relocated here in early December when I was still unsure if I was going to have to move again.
Then, on a very early morning in late FEB '21, two deer jumped right in front of my 25 year old classic 318ic at freeway speed making it a total loss just as I was preparing to close escrow on my final retirement resting place 3 days later. So naturally I reached back out to Brian in early March and after exploring much less expensive pre-owned options than an $85,000 Jeep, we pulled my credit and I quickly found out that I did not qualify for ANY financing whatsoever. So in early March, I was pretty much convinced that I'd be going to "Jack's Junks" with a wad of Ben Franklin's stuffed in my pocket to purchase my next ride. But Brian knew I desperately needed help and he did not give up. Instead, he brought Bobbi Jo Andrews into the picture to explore other options, which resulted in me walking out the door 6 days later driving a brand new 2021 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4x4 with a towing package to boot!
But to me it's way more than great, reliable (Vermont friendly) transportation. Because now with a 72 month loan at a fair interest rate from a major lender, I'm on track to bring my FICO back to a 720+ in relatively short order. That alone could easily save me ten's of thousands of dollars in interest for future purchases going forward.
That day I became a customer for life because of your team and I can't thank you...
