B-Bop's — Restaurant in Des Moines

I have been coming to this B-Bop's for years, and have always had outstanding service. Until tonight. I walked in and immediately was greeted with a voice from the back of the kitchen from a dirty-blonde haired gal with glasses, "Oh great! Here's another customer! If he wants anything other than a single, he's out of luck! That would be my night." I was blown away! I saw the guy she was cooking with in the back look at me like "oh shoot". And she kept going on and on. The guy in back kept looking at me and said "hey! He can hear you!" She said "i don't care!" So I said "excuse me, Miss, do you have a problem?" To which she replied with the biggest attitude, "NO!" Then the guy she was cooking with walked on the other side of the tracks and said "yes she does! Yes she does!" and started laughing. After some silence they started a whole different conversation like nothing ever happened. I was told her name is Crystal.

To you, Crystal, I'm sorry if you were having a bad night. But you are a representative of your company! If your attitude is poor, maybe ask for a break. Or, if you have problems with customer service, maybe you should seek other employment. You made an incredible establishment...

This place was really nice. The only problem we had was figuring out where to turn in because of the road construction on the road next to them, but I didn't take any stars for that.

The food was really good. The shake was super thick and tasted great. The burgers were excellent, and so was the sloppy Joe, chicken nuggets, pork sandwich, and chicken sandwich. Everybody liked what they ordered!

The fries are great, too. They are thin fries but not super thin like Freddy's fries and tasted great dipped in the shake. The honey mustard suace was also excellent; it wasn't overly sweet like you get in a lot of places.

The employees were great. They seem to genuinely enjoy their job.

So, here's the thing about B-bop's, I have a love-hate relationship with this place because their food is delicious and my mouth is thrilled while I'm eating it, however, the rest of my body is soooooo angry later that it's almost not worth it. So, I tend to limit my going there to no more than once a month at the very most. On the other hand, their chili cheese fries and chocolate shake rival Wendy's without effort and you can get the medium chocolate shake as part of your meal combo instead of a drink, in case you REALLY want to make bad food choices, which is nice. I know the food here is heavy on the grease and high in sugar and my stomach will not appreciate it later but I still eat here bc the food is wonderful and...
